The editorial team has a special attachment to our new series, The Trailblazers: Rewriting the Narrative, because so many of us feel that media portrayals of women have been too one dimensional. Today, women are doing incredible things in all fields – from science and technology to finance, law, business, athletics and more. With the Trailblazers series, we hope to highlight and celebrate female role models, encourage more equal and just representation in the media, and help foster a more tight-knit community locally helping women find mentors, business partners, friends and more.
Below, you’ll find some incredible trailblazers from in and around Kendall that we hope you will check out, follow and support.

Music has always been a big part of my life. I remember being three years old and listening to Selena as I danced and sang along to my favorite song. I remember singing as I grew up in my room and thinking, “Hmm, this sounds a little different. I like it.” I grew up in a household in which education was the main priority, as it should be; however, I developed a perspective of chasing a career that would bring home the “bacon”. Read more>>

Boba Pop
Originally BobaPop started as A.K.A. Kpop back years ago, which stood for the original members’ names: Ana, Kristien, and Alejandro.
