What surprises me the most about our clients is the joy they bring when they visit our booth. They know they’re going to find something truly unique a piece that makes them feel beautiful, special, and makes everyone around say, “wow, she’s one of a kind.” Seeing that excitement and connection with our jewelry is what truly inspires me to keep creating.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Laura López, and I’m the founder of Laura & Emilia Jewelry, a handcrafted jewelry brand that celebrates elegance, authenticity, and the beauty of individuality. I started this project four years ago with a passion for creating unique, high-quality pieces made with sterling silver, freshwater pearls, and natural stones.
What makes our brand truly special is the emotional connection our clients feel when they find a piece that reflects their personality and makes them shine with confidence. We’re excited to keep growing, sharing our creations at local events, and reaching more women who value timeless, meaningful jewelry.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I should be, I was a hardworking woman with big dreams, passion, and determination. I spent years working as a waitress, always holding on to the hope of building something of my own.
When I became pregnant, I felt the desire to create a project that would allow me to keep working while also spending time with my daughter. That’s how Laura&EmiliaJewelry was born a brand built with love, effort, and purpose.
Everything I was before my discipline, my passion, and my drive to grow helped me turn that dream into the reality I’m proud to live today.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be to have patience big dreams take time. Work with discipline, stay consistent, and never stop believing in yourself, even when things get hard.
Every obstacle is part of the journey, and although nothing comes easy, everything done with love, dedication, and faith eventually blossoms.
I’d tell her to trust the process, not to fear starting small, and to remember that sooner or later, everything she works for will come because with love and effort, anything is possible.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the jewelry industry is that it’s all about luxury, big names, or following fleeting trends.
The truth is, jewelry should be about connection, meaning, and authenticity. Many people are led to believe that value only comes from price or prestige, but the real value lies in the story behind each piece and the feeling it creates for the person wearing it.
At Laura & Emilia Jewelry, we believe true beauty comes from what’s made with love from craftsmanship, intention, and pieces that make you feel unique. It’s not about what everyone wears, it’s about what truly represents who you are.

If I retired tomorrow, what my customers would miss most isn’t just the jewelry it’s the experience we create. It’s the authenticity, the personal touch, and the feeling that each piece is made just for them.
