Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Carolina Canepa Falconi.
Hi ana carolina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey started in Mexico City a city that never sleeps. I was managing 4 magazines at the same time, leading major events, and constantly on the go, surrounded by traffic, noise, and endless pressure. It was only my second job, yet my days were so packed that I barely had time to eat. I had always been the “healthy” type gym every day, salads on repeat but I didn’t know how to take care of my mind. I didn’t even know what balance really meant.
Eventually, my body spoke up. I ended up in a doctor’s office with a severe skin reaction caused by stress. I was anxious, not sleeping, and living in a world that looked glamorous on the outside but felt empty on the inside it was feeding my ego but not my soul.
Then, everything shifted. A friend invited me to a retreat in the mountains. I went only to cover the event for one of the magazines but what I found there changed my life. I met inspiring people and discovered mindfulness for the first time: the art of being present, finding peace in stillness, and creating balance in every aspect of life.
When I returned home, I couldn’t stop learning. I read every book I could find, took courses, and started practicing mindfulness daily. Slowly, everything began to change my habits, my thoughts, my energy. For the first time, I felt truly alive.
One day, I made a bold decision: I quit my job and followed my passion. I moved to Australia to study mindfulness and explore how it could transform the business world. While traveling, I began shaping the idea that would later become my company bringing mindfulness to workplaces to help people prevent burnout and reconnect with purpose.
Then the pandemic hit. Alone in my tiny apartment in Australia, I started sharing simple mindfulness tools on Instagram to help others cope with stress and uncertainty. To my surprise, the response was huge media outlets began reaching out, and companies started asking me to design virtual wellness programs for their teams.
When I returned to Mexico, I began working full-time with organizations, guiding employees through the emotional challenges of the pandemic. Within a year, I was giving talks at major events, collaborating on wellness campaigns, and even training athletes, leaders, and children with disabilities.
Today, my mission remains the same: to help people reconnect with themselves to pause, breathe, and find peace in the middle of chaos. Now based in Miami, I’ve opened my company here to continue supporting organizations across the U.S. in preventing burnout, improving mental health, and bringing more humanity into the workplace.
My journey began with stress but it led me to my purpose: teaching others that balance isn’t something we find outside of us… it’s something we create within.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all it’s been full of learning and challenges.
When I started in Mexico, mental health wasn’t really a topic that companies prioritized. Luckily, that’s changing, but in the beginning my work was often about convincing leaders that taking care of their teams’ mental well-being wasn’t just “nice to have” it was essential. I had to bring data, insights, and real-life examples to show them that the best companies are the ones that invest in their people. When employees are balanced and happy, they naturally become more creative, productive, and engaged.
Also, being a young woman entrepreneur in Mexico wasn’t easy. Sometimes people didn’t take me seriously at first I had to find different ways to earn their trust and keep their attention, always staying professional and confident in what I knew.
But every challenge made me stronger. I learned to communicate my message with passion and clarity. And now that I’m in Miami, I’m so inspired to see that people here are much more open and aware of the importance of mental health in organizations. It feels like the perfect place to keep growing this mission.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me truly happy is helping people create better lives for themselves. I’ve learned that everything begins in the mind when we become friends with ourselves, we can navigate challenges with more peace and clarity. It fills me with joy to share the tools and practices that once helped me find balance, and to see how they transform others’ lives.
Sharing my passion for mindfulness is my way of giving back. It’s what helps me “surf the waves of life” when things get complicated and teaching others to do the same is what brings me the greatest happiness.
