Hue Haze of Wynwood on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Hue Haze. Check out our conversation below.

Hue, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: When was the last time you felt true joy?
Today !!!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Award winning Director and multi published editorial photographer Hue Haze started photography at the young age of 8. He was introduced to photography by his late father. He evolved from 35mm & Polaroid photography to the modernized digital era. It was not exactly easy. But photography is a creative thing that challenged him often to get better on each shoot. He stayed persistent and modest. It lead to manifesting visions for the future.

He learned that pushing himself to be better than the last photo session will definitely get him closer and closer to being an amazing photographer eventually. Taking some courses in music and video business at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute helped him develops the skills and education used in present day in video and film production as well.

Experience has transcended his skillful eye into a boudoir brand and creating social media content for marketing with various companies for their branding and purpose.

Being a director, cinematographer, and published photographer allows Hue to be very skillful in more ways than one to get the job done. Whether it’s a portrait shoot , commercial, editorial, indoor and outdoor. Hue delivers unique visuals like no other.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My loving parents. I developed a strong love and admiration for them both. They molded me with the good and not so good times. My dad fueled my creativity and allowed me to be the artist I am today.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
When your down people are scarce. When your’e winning there is always people around the winning circle. Stick with the few that see you when your’e down. Value the small things just as much as the big things. Being thankful helps sustain honor, appreciation & integrity. Something that’s rare nowadays.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That talent alone can get you where you wanna go. That’s not totally true. Someone gave the biggest star a light at some point for it to shine bright as it does first.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
That life is about relationships, choices, and compromise. The better you get at relationships. the better your life would go. Every person you speak to in a full day is a relationship. The clerk at the bank, the person at the sandwich shop, your co-workers, your delivery person, etc.
Life’s about people. Treat them fairly and you win some more than loose some.
