We recently had the chance to connect with LEONARD SELMANI and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning LEONARD, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Lately, I’ve been finding a lot of joy in spending quality time with my kids. It’s a great way to recharge and stay balanced.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Leonard Selmani, and I’m a fashion photographer passionate about capturing creativity, style, and individuality through my lens. My work focuses on blending art and fashion — creating images that not only showcase clothing but also tell a story about confidence, identity, and expression.
What makes my brand unique is my attention to detail and the way I connect with people in front of the camera, bringing out their authentic energy and personality. I’m currently working on several editorial and creative projects that explore new visual styles and highlight emerging fashion talent. For me, photography isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about emotion, storytelling, and creating timeless visuals that leave a lasting impression.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was myself — curious, creative, and free. Now I try to live and create from that same place.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Believe in yourself — you’re doing better than you think.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They’d say that I care deeply about capturing authentic stories, lifting others up, and staying genuine no matter how busy or successful life gets.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I’d stop wasting time on fear and doubt, and start living every day with purpose and gratitude.
