Hi Nate, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started in Los Angeles by learning how to network and connect with wealthy individuals. I would hang out in places they would go such as Beverly Hills. At the same time I learned how to sell, market, and solve problems. I’d replace the music in my car with personal development and success stories. It was a long process of trial and error but the more I got out of my comfort zone, the easier it was to network and connect people.
The ability to network and connect people would lead to numerous opportunities in global business and showbiz. In time, more opportunities to extend influence far outside my original comfort zone. Although my primary means of income was business, I would take roles such as hosting big events for no pay in order to hone my skills, learn new industries, and create attention in the marketplace. I noticed that people in showbiz greatly increased their net worth after their showbiz career ended by leveraging that fame into acquiring and promoting assets.
By creating attention, people naturally would invite me to other high caliber events where I would continue planting seeds and connecting people with each other. These connections paid off and I found myself collaborating with people at the top. As long as I looked presentable, most people only cared about hard work, talents, and results.
Over time, I learned how to be productive rather than busy. It is very easy to believe that events that you go to are productive but if they are attracting negative people or people that you cannot align with then you must learn to shift fast and adapt. Comfort zones exist on every level. You may have a lot of exposure and roles but if it isn’t leading to anything then you must learn to let go and pivot, even if there is some backlash that comes with it.
Saying yes to new experiences is what led me to expand and establish a base in the Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila (Philippines) and then meet business partners that would lead me to Miami Beach. To be in three legacy cities and having the power to make an impact is a dream come true. Of course it was difficult in the beginning due to fear and inexperience. I came to the conclusion that if you can get over the fear of rejection then success was inevitable.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The challenge is in mastering yourself and applying a philosophy of success. Many of these struggles could be avoided by investing in self-development and a mentor. A mentor has already been on the same path as you and can help you avoid costly mistakes for a fee. Or you can attempt to do it yourself and spend much more time and money to come to the same conclusion. When we are inexperienced, we tend to want to experience everything and also lend an ear to those who would take us off the path to success. A mentor can recommend a path and we can choose to follow it or not! But at least we have the perspective from an ultra high net worth individual.
Where attention goes, revenue flows. I got involved in showbiz to create attention for the brands. From Pearl of the Philippines based in Miami to other local projects, it is all meant to create attention back to the businesses that generate cash flow.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
The harder you work the luckier you get. Earlier I alluded to networking in wealthy areas. The more you network and connect and apply action, the likelier you are to create luck by simply being in those places. All it takes is 1 connection to change your entire life. Although it may intimidate some people, it is easier to solve problems for the wealthy because they tend to make quick decisions and have the resources. Many times the same effort it takes to do a deal with the average income person is the same for a wealthy person with higher rewards and potential network. Creating luck is by consistently applying productive actions daily in order to create the results you desire. I make it a habit to connect with people everywhere I go and make one new connection daily. Speed and urgency while planting seeds are important while you continuously harvest from connections you made months ago. Online systems and social media can help to nurture those connections.
However, although I believe in urgency and consistency, I also believe in a massive burst of energy. If you try to take your yearlong goals and compound them into the next 30 – 90 days you’ll have results. Even if you shoot for the moon and miss, you’ll still be among the stars.
