Check Out Danna Pycher’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danna Pycher.

Hi Danna , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I came to hypnotherapy by accident. Literally, a near fatal car accident. I am passionate about this work because it saved my life. Not only did it help me exponentially for my Post Traumatic Stress after the accident, it helped me regain focus and structure in my life. Before pursuing this line of work, I was a reporter and producer for many years. I learned a whole lot about people and the world through that experience which exposed me to so many varieties of individuals. I was also fortunate enough to work in health reporting, which exposed me to new medicine and very profound health techniques.

I now specialize in chronic illness, mostly nervous system dysfunction disorders like chronic fatigue and fibromylgia. I help people get to the root cause of what is putting them in fight or flight and shutting down their nervous system and brain communication.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a smooth road for the most part, yet it required commitment, conviction, and total belief in myself – which I had because I was a product of this work. Most people laughed at me in the beginning when I told them what I did, especially doctors. Now I have a lot of doctor clients.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m also a public speaker and have given a TEDx talk. I love doing group work and giving experiential workshops where the whole crowd can heal issues at once! I also love doing collaborations with other people creating a multisensory experience.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I’ve had profound teachers of hypnosis. They all contributed by their expertise, yet I would have to say I have been my biggest cheerleader throughout. I just kept going!
