I came to the United States in 2015 with nothing but a suitcase and big dreams. During the pandemic, I started arranging flowers from my home as a way to bring beauty and joy into people’s lives. What began as a small project quickly grew into a passion and, eventually, a business.
Step by step, with dedication and the support of my family, I transformed that dream into May Crazy Bloom – now a floral company with multiple storefronts in Miami. We specialize in curated arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday moments, always focusing on quality, creativity, and customer connection.
Today, I am proud not only of the growth of my business but also of the journey itself – from starting with very little to building a company that brings happiness to people and opportunities to my team.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely not been smooth. Starting a business from home during the pandemic meant facing uncertainty, limited resources, and the constant fear of failure. I had to learn everything on my own – from marketing and customer service to managing finances and building a team.
As an immigrant woman and entrepreneur, I also faced the challenge of establishing credibility in a competitive industry while balancing family responsibilities. There were moments of financial sacrifice, long nights, and even setbacks that made me question if I should keep going.
But each obstacle became an opportunity to grow stronger, more creative, and more determined. Those challenges shaped the foundation of May Crazy Bloom and made me value even more the success we are building today.

I see weddings and large events becoming an even bigger focus, with couples and clients looking for unique, curated experiences that reflect their personal story. Sustainability and locally sourced flowers will also become more important, as clients are more conscious about the impact of their choices.
