Hi Greta, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always found comfort in animals. During a difficult time in my life, my mom’s dog gave me so much love, and that inspired me to work with animals. It motivated me to build a career centered on supporting pets and their families.
About ten years ago, I started my own business offering pet sitting, dog walking, and dog training in Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach. Since then, I’ve worked with countless pets — from young puppies learning their first commands to older dogs needing extra care, as well as cats and other pets. I use positive reinforcement training and tailor my approach to each family’s needs.
For clients outside my area, I also offer virtual training or can meet at a nearby location by me. What I enjoy most is helping people by making life with their pets easier and less stressful.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. When COVID hit, my business almost stopped completely. People weren’t traveling or leaving their homes, so the need for pet sitting and dog walking disappeared overnight. On top of that, many people started offering pet care as a side gig, and the business has hardly bounced back since — maybe just little spurts here and there.
Over the past ten years, I’ve definitely hit some learning curves. One of the most meaningful parts of this journey is how much my clients have taught me — especially about what healthy relationships look like. For that, I’m grateful.

At Wagtastic Pet Care, I offer pet sitting, dog walking, and dog training in the Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach area. I also provide virtual training for clients outside my area or can meet at a convenient location nearby.

I specialize in positive reinforcement and focus on helping families with everything from puppy basics like potty training, crate training, and socialization, to solving more challenging behaviors such as leash reactivity, jumping, chewing, or resource guarding.
