Story & Lesson Highlights with Jessika Angarita & Lisbet Castillo Jessika Angarita & Lisbet Castillo of Miami, FL

We recently had the chance to connect with Jessika Angarita & Lisbet Castillo Jessika Angarita & Lisbet Castillo and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessika Angarita & Lisbet Castillo, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One of the most common misconceptions about PACTA is that we are a public relations firm. In reality, we are a boutique investor relations and marketing firm with a very different focus. Our expertise lies in bridging the worlds of capital markets and luxury. We design and execute curated investor roadshows, exclusive events on superyachts and global venues, and bespoke marketing strategies that connect public companies, family offices, and UHNW investors. Our role is not about publicity or promotion, it’s about ensuring that our clients’ stories are told to the right audiences, with precision, credibility, and impact.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Jessika Angarita and Lisbet Castillo, co-founders of PACTA. Together, we bring a wealth of experience in investor relations, corporate development, marketing, and reputation management, working with UHNW individuals, family offices, and thought leaders worldwide. For the past seven years, PACTA has operated as a boutique relations and marketing firm, connecting global capital markets through curated experiences that bring companies and stakeholders together in meaningful ways. The name comes from the Latin principle pacta sunt servanda (‘agreements must be kept’), reflecting our commitment to trust, credibility, and lasting relationships.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
When we started, we were young entrepreneurs with no financial safety net or family backing, building our company from the ground up and launching in Monaco in 2018. What truly empowered us wasn’t power itself, but the encouragement of those who believed in us and the realization that we had the ability to bring people together around a shared vision.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Giving up has never been an option for us. Quitting isn’t in our nature. If we stumble, it becomes a chance to learn, pivot, and come back stronger. As Latina immigrants, with families who sacrificed to leave Colombia and Cuba for new lives in Canada and the U.S., resilience is in our DNA. That legacy drives us to keep moving forward, adapt, and make things happen no matter the challenge.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
We used to believe that age automatically made someone an expert. While experience over time is valuable, we’ve also seen how younger entrepreneurs can disrupt markets and challenge traditional ways of doing business. Today, we advise CEOs who are older than us, and through our work we’ve earned their respect, not because of age, but because of the fresh perspective and results we bring.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
Our clients would miss the passion and energy we bring to everything we do. Beyond delivering results, we infuse every project with positivity and genuine enthusiasm, and that spirit makes the journey as enjoyable as the outcome.
