An Inspired Chat with Tinnie Renee of Miami

We recently had the chance to connect with Tinnie Renee and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tinnie , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me right now is a blend of structure and flexibility. I usually start my mornings early by reviewing my priorities, checking messages, and setting intentions for the day. From there, I divide my time between working on my business goals, handling administrative tasks, and staying connected with clients or partners. I make sure to carve out time for learning and professional development as well, since I believe in constantly growing. My evenings are often about reflecting on the day, preparing for the next, and balancing work with family or personal time. It’s a busy routine, but I enjoy the variety and the sense of progress that comes with each day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tinnie Re’nee, and my entrepreneurial journey began with Pretty Madame LLC, which taught me the joy of building something of my own. Today, I’ve expanded into ventures that are close to my heart: childcare, staffing, and travel.

As a travel agent, I love the excitement of planning and coordinating experiences that bring people together. That same passion for creating meaningful moments is what drives my work in childcare—where my grandmother’s influence as my first teacher inspired me to build a daycare and staffing company. For me, it’s all about helping others thrive—families, children, educators, and even travelers.

I’m proud to merge my love for planning, caring, and creating opportunities, and I look forward to making a lasting impact in both the childcare industry and beyond.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Growing up, my life was centered around family, love, and support. I come from a big family, so I was always surrounded by encouragement and examples of hard work. I cheered throughout my younger years, which taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Watching my family members get jobs and grow into greater opportunities inspired me to always push myself and believe in the possibility of achieving more.

The relationship that most shaped how I see myself is the one with my mom. She instilled in me the importance of perseverance, compassion, and showing up fully for others. Through her guidance and example, I learned to value hard work, to carry myself with confidence, and to create a life built on love, service, and growth.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there was a time I almost gave up. In the span of just three weeks, I lost my aunt, my uncle, and my significant other. That kind of grief all at once was overwhelming, and it made me question everything—my purpose, my drive, and even my ability to move forward. The pain of those losses overshadowed any other challenge I had faced, even setbacks in business like my pages being deleted.

But in that darkness, I realized that giving up would mean losing a part of myself too. I chose instead to honor their memories by continuing to build, to push, and to create something meaningful out of my life. It wasn’t easy, but that season taught me the true meaning of resilience. Now, whenever I face obstacles, I remind myself of the strength it took to survive those weeks—and that gives me the courage to keep going.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
One truth that is so foundational in my life that I rarely articulate it is that everything happens for a reason, even when we don’t understand it in the moment. I’ve faced challenges, losses, and setbacks that could have broken me, but instead they pushed me to grow stronger, more focused, and more compassionate.

Another truth I carry is that faith, family, and purpose are non-negotiables in my life. They guide my decisions and keep me grounded no matter how busy or uncertain life gets. I don’t always speak these truths out loud because they’re simply a part of who I am and how I live every day.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the story people tell about me is simple but meaningful: I was here. I helped. I loved. I smiled. I enjoyed life. I cared for others. More than accomplishments or titles, I want to be remembered for the way I made people feel—for bringing light into their lives, for supporting others when they needed it, and for living with joy and purpose.

If people can say that I left them better than I found them, that I gave my all to my family, community, and the children I worked with, then I’ll know my life was a success. My legacy will not just be in what I built, but in the love, care, and inspiration I shared along the way.
