Vesenia Jones-Saintcyr shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Vesenia , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I feel drawn to connect and engage with younger women, particularly in the beauty and health sectors.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a licensed aesthetician based in sunny Miami, Florida, and the proud creator of Purr Skinn LLC — a brand all about skincare, health, and confidence. I started this journey to help young women and men discover their inner love and glow from within because, let’s be real, our problems are often just skin deep!
Purr Skinn was born in 2019 with a few skincare essentials like soap bars, moisturizing cream cleansers, and toners. Now, I’m excited to have expanded into a new location where I offer a variety of services including facial waxing, brow tinting, and so much more. Can’t wait to help you feel your best, inside and out! ✨💖
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A defining moment in my life was losing my mom at such a young age. Growing up without her profoundly shaped the woman I am today. It taught me independence, the importance of never relying on anyone else to accomplish what I need, and reminded me that life is too short to take for granted.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
One of the greatest lessons suffering has taught me is that it builds a strength and character you may not even realize you carry. It forces you to grow, adapt, and pivot in ways you never thought possible.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Omg yes! I make it a point to show up as my authentic self every day—faking it just takes way too much energy.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the deepest peace when I know I’ve done something that honors and pleases God.
