Meet Jennifer Grace of Jennifer Grace Enterprises, Resident Life Coach at The Standard Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Grace.

Jennifer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After leaving my work as a SAG actress and my marriage of 7 years, I was desperately tried to “Find My Purpose.” I started six companies, made six logos, developed six websites and ultimately had six failures. I was trying to please everyone around me and do too many things at once. I was listening to what everyone else thought I “should” be doing. When the alimony settlement ran out and the start-up companies never reached their finish, I reached out to my mom who suggested I take a course called, The Creative Insight Journey (CIJ). This 8-week life-changing technology was first taught at Stanford University by Dr. Michael Ray and taken out of the classroom and into the world by master coach Julia Romaine. Jim Collins, one of the world’s leading authorities on personal development, called it “the most profound life changing course taught at the Stanford Graduate School.”

It was given to me one-on-one by the lead trainer, executive coach, Julia Romaine.

During my own journey as a student, I popped during week 5 out of the 8-week curriculum. I realized that this was my purpose, to get certified to teach this course and bring it to South Florida.

Over the next 10 years, I graduated over 8000 students, brought it online and began to teach it to people all over the world. In January 2014, Julia Romaine and Dr. Michael Ray handed the training program over to me, and now I am the one certified to train others. In the last four years, I have trained 80 trainers, it has been translated into Polish, Greek, Italian, Spanish and French, Swedish, and currently it is being translated into Arabic. We have launched in 7 different countries around the world. Two years ago, I redesigned the training for kids and teens (Insight for Life) and we are getting the mindfulness and emotional intelligence program into after schools, yoga studios, private schools and in March 2018, the New York Department of Education has brought it into their first public school.

My intention is to make CIJ a household name in order to get as many people through this powerful life-changing curriculum. I teach at the Standard Spa, where I am in resident Life Coach and also, worldwide online.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The struggles of becoming an author and a well-respected coach were not always easy. In 2011 I submitted my book proposal for Directing Your Destiny and it was rejected. Knowing and teaching, The Creative Process, I knew that it is not Great Idea/ Success. The creative process has many stages and number two is the brick wall of frustration. I knew that I had simply hit this wall so I did not throw my book into the garbage, I simply went into stage three: incubation, where you put your great idea on the back burner. Stage four is to get allies, get help. I asked many people in the literary industry to look over my proposal and tell me where I had gone wrong. After getting expert advise, I rewrote my book proposal, submitted it back to Hay House Publishing and the next thing I knew I had a book deal and a radio show sandwiched in between Wayne Dyer and Ester Hicks for three years.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Jennifer Grace Enterprises – what should we know?
I work with either soul seekers or thought leaders. I teach online and live transformational training to people who want to get unstuck or take action. I help coaches, authors, and speakers, launch their platforms so that they can get their message to the masses. What sets me apart? Well, I’m about as real as you can get. Brooklyn born, Miami made, a wise-ass coach who uses a blend of comedy and practical know how to make the process of transformation painless and fun.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have an amazing team that supports me and backs me up. I believe in creative collaboration and surrounding yourself with people who do things that you personally suck at. Myk Likhov runs the biz, Jenny Lee Molina of JLPR gets the word out, Audrey Denson of Denson design makes everything look beautiful with her creative art direction, 40 Pro Sev Sanders is our in-house video expert and oh… let’s not forget my Director of Happiness, Jessica De Soto, she makes it all run smooth as silk.
