Diana Castro shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Diana, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
For me and my family, this is the season of transitions, reinventions, new intentions, new agreements, new adventures, facing the unknown, and being present to opportunity while walking by faith.
Our family has decided to take massive, bold steps towards new opportunities that have proven to stretch our bandwidth while holding space for being uncomfortable, staying present to our fears, and facing the future with hope for new adventures and opportunities.
Because let’s face it, change can feel hard (mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally), change can have the energy of excitement while also having the energy of grief, and the fear of the unknown.
It has become clear to us that life presents us with opportunities to strengthen our intentions, to face our truths and values, and take actions that can feel challenging. Choosing change over “comfort”. while asking deep, important questions— “Am I willing to do what it takes to step into a new version of me to create the space for what I desire?” – Are we willing to sacrifice our “known” to create the space for the new? – Are we ready to become who we need to be, even if that means “losing” what we currently hold? And to us, the answer was YES (in a squeaky voice) – we’ll walk by faith.
We are choosing to open new frontiers, move our family overseas, while keeping our business base in Miami. Expanding our bandwidth, network, and choosing faith over fear.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m Diana Castro, co-founder of For Productions, a media and marketing company for service-driven leaders—think coaches, speakers, consultants—who are ready to stop playing small with their message and actually get seen.
What we do is pretty wild (in the best way): we help our clients create an entire year’s worth of video content in just 5 days or less. Yep—one year. We take care of everything from the idea to the strategy, filming, editing, and even posting. It’s kind of like a content marathon… minus the burnout. And the sweat.
We offer different styles of video—podcasts, talking head sales content, lifestyle reels—and we make sure it’s all designed to feel evergreen, authentic, and tied to a soulful lead generation strategy that actually works.
And here’s something I’m really excited about—we’ve started hosting Video Content Retreats in Medellín, Colombia. It’s where strategy meets creativity meets… cafecito. These retreats are our way of reclaiming content creation as something joyful, energizing, and rooted in purpose—not something you dread every month.
We work with what I like to call dealers of hope—visionary humans who are building something that matters. As a personal growth junkie and leadership lover, I see content as more than just marketing. It’s legacy work. And my mission is to help purpose-driven leaders use video to make their voice impossible to ignore—in the best way.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
Hands down, my husband Rodrigo. He’s more than my life partner—he’s also my creative collaborator, my co-parent, my future old-person sidekick… and my greatest personal growth gym.
Being seen in both my brilliance and my messiness by someone who knows me so intimately is equal parts beautiful and humbling. He wants to see me win—and he’s not afraid to be honest with me, even when it stings a little (okay, sometimes a lot).
That dynamic has challenged me in the best ways. It’s helped me grow into a stronger woman, a better communicator, and a more compassionate leader. And while it’s not always easy, there’s this unshakable foundation of love underneath it all. He sees me fully—and still chooses me every day. That kind of relationship? It shapes you from the inside out.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
One of the biggest wounds I’ve had to work through has been around money and emotional expression—specifically, limiting beliefs about abundance and a deep fear of feeling or expressing anger. For most of my life, I saw anger as something “bad” or dangerous—something to be suppressed. But over time, I’ve come to understand that anger, when harnessed with intention, anger can actually be a powerful fuel for change and boundary-setting. it’s also a light that reveals what matters.
And when it comes to money, I had to unlearn a lot of subconscious stories—about worthiness, scarcity, and what’s “too much.” That kind of rewiring doesn’t happen overnight. Healing, for me, has been less of a destination and more like an ever-evolving spiral. A gift that keeps on (unexpectedly) giving.
My healing path has included reading all the books, joining personal development groups, working with incredible coaches, and diving deep into the practice of EpiEnergetics—developed by Dr. Donald Epstein. Experiencing the 12 Stages of Healing through that work has truly been revolutionary for me. It’s helped me connect with my body, my energy, and my story in ways that talk therapy alone never could.
Personal growth is life long on going journey—always—but now I meet my wounds with curiosity instead of shame. And that shift? It’s changed everything.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
If you asked my closest friends what really matters to me, they’d probably say: alignment and freedom, with my purpose, my values, and the energy I bring into the world. I care deeply about living a life that feels authentic, not just looks good on the outside. Whether it’s in my family, my work, or my friendships, I want to show up with intention and heart.
Growth is another big one—I’m a personal development junkie (the kind that always has a book recommendation or a new “aha” moment to share). But not from a place of needing to fix myself, more from a place of loving the evolution. I believe we’re all here to expand, and I genuinely enjoy doing the inner work… even when it’s messy.
I also care deeply about creating impact – how I mother, how I serve. Freedom, family, faith, and legacy are at the core of what drives me.
And on a lighter note… I care about meaningful conversations, good music, deep belly laughs. I’m someone who values soul over small talk and purpose over perfection.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
If I laid down my name, my title, and everything I owned…
what would remain is this:
A legacy of love rooted in family, service, and deep care.
A lifetime of meaningful learning, shared generously.
Three bold-hearted, beautiful daughters, raised with values, compassion, and courage.
And a future of dreams, hope, and heart.
