Good morning Sara , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
It has made me feel very proud of myself to be able to live in the places I want. This year, I’ve been in Dubai, living my dreams and working on what I’m passionate about — my personal brand. More and more, I’m able to leave a positive mark in different parts of the world. It’s not just about success or money, but also about what you carry inside — how you can inspire others and help them achieve their dreams too
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Sara Montoya is a travel influencer who studied Social Communication and Audiovisual Production in Colombia.
“My dream was always to live my life traveling — not just as a vacation, but as part of my lifestyle — and to become my own media outlet through social media, being a channel to showcase the best experiences around the world.”
She inspires others to believe they can achieve their dream life, helping them reach their goals through her marketing agency, SM Creative Vision. She supports both major companies and individuals who want to grow their personal brand on social media, helping them live their dreams and unlock their full potential.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
The moment I started traveling alone around the world, giving myself the chance to connect more deeply with myself and with God, was when everything changed. That’s when you truly get to know yourself — where you can organize your thoughts, dream big, and see your full potential. Believing in myself and trusting that God opens doors at the perfect time has made me see the world without limits, because if God is with me, nothing is impossible.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
That when a plan doesn’t work out, it’s because something much greater and better is coming into your life. Sometimes God has to remove people or close doors in order to open something better for you.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
Faith and God are things I may not be able to prove to many people, but I am living proof of a life led by faith — where God has been present in every process and every goal I’ve achieved.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
When I travel, one of the things that brings me the most peace is being at sea. I love diving, connecting with nature, and being able to see animals.
