Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Diego Bonilla of Fort Lauderdale

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Diego Bonilla. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Diego, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Definitely anytime I get to go out and skate with friends or hang with my friends. Its always a great time and good relief from the every day routine of work and home.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Diego Bonilla, and I am a 35-year-old graphic designer from Colombia. I also possess skills in videography and photography. I enjoy creating visual content whenever possible. My other interests include skateboarding, attending car shows, playing video games, exercising, and continuously learning new things.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My mother has been my greatest teacher when it comes to work. She instilled in me a strong work ethic, emphasizing the importance of hard work and dedication. Through her example, I learned the value of perseverance and the significance of consistently striving for my best, regardless of the task at hand.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could offer one piece of advice to my younger self, it would be to cultivate discernment and develop a broad range of skills to overcome any challenges life may present.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Self Character and Loyalty

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace honestly, when I go skateboarding, it’s like a break away from reality.
