Story & Lesson Highlights with Bella Amore of Kansas City

We recently had the chance to connect with Bella Amore and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bella , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of my work, my greatest joy right now is being present with my family — especially supporting my sons in their athletic and personal growth. Watching them shine on and off the field reminds me why I work so hard. I also find joy in pouring back into my community, whether it’s mentoring youth or creating spaces like my upcoming women’s empowerment event: Fashion, Heels & Flaws. Those moments of connection, laughter, and growth outside of the spotlight keep me grounded and grateful.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
“My name is Bella Amore — professional model, actress, realtor, and visionary entrepreneur. I am the founder of Bella Amore, a brand built on elegance, empowerment, and authenticity. What makes my journey unique is that I didn’t fit the traditional mold — I’m a petite model from Missouri who has booked campaigns with brands like the NFL and Miss Missouri , walked LA Fashion Week, and trained under Emmy-nominated directors. I created my brand to prove that beauty, power, and purpose can coexist no matter your height, your background, or your story.

Beyond the runway and film sets, I’m passionate about using my platform to uplift others. Through Bella Amore, I’m building spaces for women and youth to grow in confidence — including my upcoming ‘Fashion, Heels & Flaws’ women’s empowerment event. It’s more than a brand, it’s a movement: transforming flaws into fuel, faith into action, and dreams into legacy.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
The biggest lessons about work came from my parents. They’re both entrepreneurs, and growing up I watched their drive, resilience, and faith in action every single day. They taught me that work isn’t just about making a living — it’s about creating opportunities, building something you can be proud of, and leaving a legacy. Their example showed me how to dream bigger, push through challenges, and carry myself with integrity in everything I do.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me patience, faith, and the power of perspective — things success alone never could. In the seasons where doors closed or I felt overlooked, I learned how to lean on God, trust the process and keep going even when the path wasn’t clear. Those hard moments showed me that setbacks aren’t punishments, they’re preparation. Success feels good but suffering built my character, sharpened my vision, and reminded me that my worth isn’t tied to applause — it’s tied to purpose.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the modeling and entertainment industry is that there’s only one standard of beauty or one path to success. For so long, we’ve been told you have to be a certain height, size, or look to belong — but that’s simply not true. I’m a petite model who has booked national campaigns, walked major fashion weeks and proven that talent and confidence can’t be boxed in by measurements.

Another lie is that success happens overnight. The truth is, it takes years of hard work, resilience, and self-belief. Behind every glamorous moment is a story of perseverance. I want to keep breaking those walls down and showing the next generation that you can rewrite the rules and still win.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes, without a doubt. I give everything my best because my work is ultimately for God, not for people. Even if no one ever clapped, liked a post or gave me recognition, I know that He sees me. The seasons where I felt unseen taught me how to rely on His approval above all else. Colossians 3:23 says, ‘Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.’ That scripture keeps me grounded. Praise fades but God’s purpose lasts forever — and that’s why I’ll always show up and give my best.
