Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Hubka.
Hi Jenna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I went to the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and got a degree in Parks & Rec with a focus on event planning. After graduating, I owned an event planning firm in North Florida with my lifelong best friend. When I met my now husband I moved down south to PBC and started a new life. After I had my kiddos, I was at a girls dinner when one of the ladies I met that night suggested to me to start a blog since according to her “I seemed to know a bit about everything “ — that night she had me buy randomhousewife.com and after some of my childhood friends convinced me I actually should pursue the blogger / influencer life I started but just with my recipes and cleaning hacks. Over time my blog and instagram page @random_housewife has turned into a true lifestyle page where I share not only my recipes but also fashion, my love for travel, life hacks, I get to showcase my personal events that I plan (outdoor dinner party, yes please!) and just day to day life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly I didn’t know the first thing about being an influencer and was hardly even on Instagram at the start of this so just learning the platforms I had content on was a huge challenge. I also vastly underestimated the amount of time it takes to truly curate your own brand
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am probably most know for mixing a matching quality fashion pieces with affordable finds! I love wearing a designer bag with a $20 Amazon outfit (and showing how to elevate it the whole look to look high end!) As an avid traveler, my travel blog posts are always a good follow along with my recipes that come from my deep Italian roots.
How do you define success?
To be happy in what you are doing and who you are!
