We’re looking forward to introducing you to Lauren Casgren Tindall. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Lauren, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am proud of creating all the helpful content we have created for entrepreneurs starting products. It’s not that nobody sees it, but nobody sees the full scope of what I am building. I have created over 400 blog posts, over 250 automated emails, where each week I share something important to the entrepreneurial journey, multiple courses including one on launching a beauty product, as well as our podcast called Entrepreneur Minds Speak, where we bring on guests to talk about different aspects of starting a product business from manufacturing, to PR to branding and packaging (my favorite!). We have over 45 episodes! I also geek out on another part no one sees which is the SEO. Half of my clients find me through organic SEO and I am proud of that.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Lauren Casgren-Tindall, the founder and principal of Crème de Mint, a Miami-based branding and packaging design agency specializing in the food, beauty, and wellness industries. I started Crème de Mint after working as designer in New York working for companies such as Victoria’s Secret, Avon and Bliss. After moving to Miami, I started a networking group for entrepreneurs and noticed many entrepreneurs had amazing ideas—but lacked the branding foundation to bring them to life.
What makes Crème de Mint unique is our ability to combine award-winning design with real strategic thinking. We’re not just here to make things look good—we help our clients build brands that connect with their audience and grow their business. One of our rebrands led to a 150-store expansion and positioned the brand for entry into Costco, and another helped boost revenue by 30% through better email marketing and packaging design.
I am passionate about helping more founders launch or reimagine their product lines. Whether you’re just getting started, scaling up, or redesigning your brand, our team’s goals is to develop branding and packaging, and strategy to stand out in a crowded market.
If you’re building something from scratch or reimagining your product, I’d love to connect!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My dad taught me the most about work. He’s one of the most motivated, hardworking people I’ve ever known. He had his own business for a while—he even developed a specialized program for the oil industry, which he eventually sold before transitioning back into consulting. No matter what stage he was in professionally, he always took pride in what he did and set big goals for himself.
What’s always inspired me is how consistent he is—not just with work, but in life. He’s 81 years old now and still bikes over 30 miles a day. Last year, he rode 366 times—sometimes twice in one day! That level of dedication is rare, and it’s stayed with me. I learned from him that if you want something, you show up for it every single day. That’s the mindset I bring to my own business and to the entrepreneurs I work with. Passion and talent are important—but it’s discipline, consistency, and the ability to push forward that really move things forward. He taught me that without ever having to say it out loud.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Of course! I think I’ve almost given up three times this year alone—lol. Being an entrepreneur is incredibly rewarding, but it’s also full of moments where you feel like you’ve hit a wall. There have been times when I’ve felt completely burned out, overwhelmed, or just questioning if all the effort is really worth it. Sometimes it’s the little things that pile up—tech issues, missed opportunities, delays—and other times it’s the bigger existential stuff, like “Is this still the right path for me?”
What’s helped me keep going is taking a step back and remembering why I started in the first place. I think about the impact I’ve had helping entrepreneurs bring their visions to life, and that fuels my passion. I also try to surround myself with people who support me and remind me of my why. And I give myself time to rest. That’s key. Not every moment needs to be productive. Sometimes the best thing is to pause and reset.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to lifelong learning and growth, both mentally and physically. That belief has guided a lot of the choices I’ve made in both life and business. After finding my body stiff and hunched over after working hours and hours designing at the computer, I knew I needed to make a big change for my health. In that moment I decided to get my comprehensive Pilates certification so I could help myself and others just like me to feel great in their bodies. I’m now certified in Pilates, the MELT Method, and Breathwork and teach through my online studio Mintbody Pilates. It’s been eye-opening to learn how to help myself and support others in movement and mindfulness supporting not just physical health but focus, energy, and creativity.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m in nature—camping, walking, just being outdoors. There’s something about disconnecting from all noise around me that helps me reconnect to myself. Hiking, camping (in my van conversion) or just taking a walk really grounds me. And when I get to share those moments with the people I love, it’s even more meaningful.
