Veronika Radkevich of Miami on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Veronika Radkevich and have shared our conversation below.

Veronika, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I like to spend my mornings in the gym or a yoga class. On Sundays, I usually start by the beach — it depends on the day of the week. Swimming in the ocean afterward has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in the last few months for my body and mental health.

On weekdays, I prefer staying in the gym — swimming, cardio, or weights — starting the journey of shaping my body and losing weight. It feels like a never-ending story because I love all types of sweets and good food.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Veronika Radkevich — an artist, photographer, and explorer of all things visual. I’m based in Miami but rarely standing still. My work is a mix of landscape and aerial photography, emotional storytelling, and lately, a deep dive into AI-generated self-portraits — a project that’s been both personal and wildly creative.

I’ve been in the photography world for over 15 years, shooting everything from fashion in Paris to quiet sunrises in the mountains. I run my own full-scale production studio, create content for brands, and help bring ideas to life through visuals that actually make people feel something.

Right now, I’m also writing my first book — it’s about me, my journey, my life, and the growth I’ve gone through. I’m turning 35, and honestly, it feels like a midlife chapter — full of reflections, lessons, and stories I want to share. Hopefully, it’s just the beginning — I dream of turning it into a screenplay and eventually a film. Big dream, I know — but I’m making small moves every day to get there.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I’ve always been a big-time dreamer — creating, imagining, making things with my hands since I was a kid. The world tried, but it never really changed me. Deep down, I’ve always wanted the same thing: to be free, to create, and to feel truly happy doing what I love.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Of course — it happens all the time. There are moments when everything feels too much, and you question it all. But then something shifts, you breathe, you move through it, and you try again. That’s just part of the process.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
My art and my personal projects — no matter how long it takes or what it costs, I’m in it for the long run. It’s not about quick wins for me; it’s about creating something real, something that stays. I’ll keep going, no matter what.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope they say I lived fully, stayed true to myself, and left behind a legacy — not just of art, but of passion, freedom, and authenticity. That I inspired people to dream big and do what they love, no matter what.
