Story & Lesson Highlights with Evgenia Hoth of Hollywood

We recently had the chance to connect with Evgenia Hoth and have shared our conversation below.

Evgenia, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
One of my proudest achievements is learning to speak English fluently in such a short period of time. I challenged myself daily—through reading, conversation, and even thinking in English—to immerse fully. Now, when I look back, it makes me laugh to think of how outgoing and social I was when I first moved here with no English skills. But I appreciate all the people, agencies, business partners, and friends who didn’t care about the language and saw my value.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! My name is Evgenia, and I’m a model, full-time professional, and now, an aspiring entrepreneur in the beauty industry. I’ve always had a deep love for creativity, self-expression, and the power of transformation — whether it’s in front of the camera or through beauty services that make people feel more confident in their own skin.

By day, I work full-time in a corporate role that has taught me discipline, strategy, and how to manage goals with precision. On the creative side, modeling has allowed me to explore different aesthetics, connect with amazing artists, and build confidence in ways I never imagined.

Right now, I’m channeling all of that experience into launching my own beauty brand focused on permanent makeup. It’s about enhancing natural beauty in a way that’s effortless and empowering — and I can’t wait to share it with the world.

My journey is all about blending structure with creativity and showing that you don’t have to fit into one box. You can build a life that’s as multifaceted as you are — and that’s what makes my story unique.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
One moment that truly shaped how I see the world was when I moved to the U.S. completely on my own. I didn’t have family or a support system here — just a strong belief that I could build something better for myself. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it taught me that growth happens when you’re uncomfortable. It showed me that independence isn’t just about being alone — it’s about trusting yourself, learning quickly, and staying open even when everything feels unfamiliar. That experience changed how I see challenges — not as something to avoid, but as an invitation to become more capable, confident, and connected to the world around me.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me patience, perspective, and inner strength — in ways success never could. When you’re going through hard times, especially alone, there’s no applause, no validation — just you and the choice to keep going.
It taught me to find my own value without needing approval, to keep moving even when things felt impossible, and to appreciate even the small wins. Success feels great, but it’s suffering that builds the resilience and empathy that truly shape who you are. It also taught me to never take peace, progress, or people for granted.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
One thing I’m fully committed to — no matter how long it takes — is becoming an international model and building a name that represents confidence, resilience, and creative expression. It’s not just about photoshoots or runways; it’s about showing that someone who started from nothing, in a new country, can break through with hard work and heart.

At the same time, I’m building toward my long-term dream of opening my own permanent makeup salon. Beauty has always been a part of my world — not just how we look, but how we feel when we see ourselves in the mirror. I want to create a space where others feel empowered, elevated, and seen.

Both dreams take time and a lot of patience — but I’m not in a rush. I’m in it for the journey, and I’m committed to growing into the person who can bring both visions to life.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I was someone who lived boldly, with courage and heart. That I didn’t wait for permission to chase big dreams, that I believed in myself even when the odds were against me, and inspired others to do the same. I want to be remembered as confident and ambitious, but also as someone who was deeply loving, who gave generously, and who lifted others up along the way. A woman who built her own path and stayed true to herself

That’s the story I hope lives on: a story of strength with softness, power with purpose, and a heart that kept going no matter what.
