Story & Lesson Highlights with Sab Pataki of Mexico City

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Sab Pataki. Check out our conversation below.

Sab, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
When I need time to think or not think at all, I just go jogging by myself. There I can feel relief from anything and lost track of time by just breathing in and out. And there I can clear my head so I can find myself again and feel better

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
More than a brand @Sab_Pataki is a place where you could get motivated. The purpose of my social media account is to help people find their true passion for having a healthy sporty lifestyle. Now it’s more focused on running, but they can find their own favorite activity and enjoy it. What I’m looking for is to spread the joy that doing exercise gives you and that you can find a crew that supports you and even help you to achieve more goals.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memories of feeling powerful was when i won my first race on elementary school, I felt so strong and proud. The power of believing in myself before the race and knowing that I was going to win because I knew my own power.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
I think the fear of not getting what I want. Not the fear of losing because you can learn from it, but the fear of not keep evolving and becoming a better version of myself. That’s why I never give up, because I constantly have new goals to keep improving.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
In sports area, I truly admire Rafael Nadal, because of how he always gave the best of him in every game, no matter what, you could see how he played with all his heart and soul. And he was always so focused and also is a great person off the court. With values, and his a business man who helps others.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I thing in this stage of my life, the path has taught me that you most certainly follow your heart and your dreams. If you do what you love, everything is going to come together and you can make money from it. There’s fear in it, but with the passion and determination, you can make it happen. So I would regret not having to start over. Because I wasn’t doing what I love.
