Story & Lesson Highlights with Lee Brooks

We recently had the chance to connect with Lee Brooks and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Lee, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Well firstly, f*ck ice baths, haha. The first 90 mins of my day is very chilled, awake at 7am, shower, dressed, protein shake, and then flick through personal emails and whatsapps. I’ll take a walk to the shop, get food/water for the day so about 2000 steps then back home and I’ll do some calming breathing for 10 mins. I do 478, so 4 inhale, 7 sec hold, 8 exhale with my legs up the wall to get the blood up to my head.
Then its into work mode at 9am, so nothing exciting. I just need that time to walk, relax and prep my head for the day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Lee Brooks, a transformation coach helping women ditch the cycle of fad diets and endless restarts so they can finally feel strong, confident, and in control of their bodies. My flagship program, Body Solutions, uses my signature Body Reset Method™, a no-BS system that tackles the real reasons women struggle with energy, consistency, and lack of confidence from weight gain.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for over two decades, coaching both in-person and online, and I’ve worked with hundreds of women around the world. What sets me apart? I don’t just hand over a meal plan and wish you luck. I dig into everything that actually moves the needle, training, nutrition, recovery, stress, mindset, so the changes stick for life.

I know the frustration of feeling like you don’t recognise the person in the mirror. I’ve been there myself, and I coach with that mix of empathy and straight-talking honesty my clients value. The goal isn’t just to help women look better, it’s to help them live better, with more energy, more confidence, and more fun.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I think moving to Bermuda for 4 yrs when I was 26, I didn’t know anyone there, had never been there, and I was leaving behind a house, a full personal training business and a new gym manager job. But I wanted to lean into discomfort. I knew thats how’d I’d grow and improve as a person. Many people told me it was a mistake. “The grass is always greener….” quote, blah blah. Well turns out it was, best decision ever and it’s shaped the path to where I am today.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Act like the future version of yourself, the person you want to become. Do not act like how you are and think right now as you know it’s not what you want.
Walk taller, speak more, talk to the girl you like with confidence, and stand up for yourself when people put you down. Life is short and its all just a game. You watch James Bond on TV, now go be more like him, he doesn’t give a f*ck what people think of him when he walks in a room. He owns his space, go do that.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
100% all me. I don’t use filters or any of that crap. And I’m not in the habit of telling lies, so people hear a lot of the same stories, same values, same info from me because the truth wont change.
I don’t have the energy, time or patience to be someone different in public either, life’s hard enough haha.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
That’s what I currently do, haha. I’m self employed and that’s one thing I miss about having a boss, you get told “Good Job” every so often, a little pat on the back. You don’t get that when its your own business. Sure, I have clients thanking me, and telling me how much weight they’ve dropped, or how much better their life is, and that’s amazing, I love that. But it’s slightly different to being praised for doing my best work.
