We’re looking forward to introducing you to Monique Renée. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Monique , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I pack a lot into my mornings, but they are all very intentional! I have learned to gift the mornings to myself and prioritize my self-care. It’s part of the work I do with other high-achieving women, so I truly do walk my talk. I love my mornings, and every season I’ll tweak my routine a bit. Today, I rise at 5:30 am with prayer and meditation for about 30 minutes. Then, I move on to making my bed and some self care. I love sitting at my vanity and either using my red light mask, or do about 5 minutes of facia exercises. Then it’s off on a nature walk with my pup, Ocean for about 45 minutes. After that, I wrap up my routine with either 30 minutes of yoga or Zumba and some strength exercises. With this, I’m ready for my coffee!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Monique Renée, a leadership expert, spiritual strategist, and lifelong mystic who’s spent nearly two decades guiding women leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to live, lead, and create from a place of deep alignment. My work blends executive coaching with powerful spiritual technologies like astrology, Feng Shui, Human Design, and Tarot, helping my clients navigate life’s transitions, reconnect with their purpose, and create sacred success on their own terms.
Through my signature Flow Roadmap™ framework, I guide clients to understand their unique energetic archetypes, align with the seasons of their life, and create intentional spaces—both within themselves and their environments—that support their highest potential.
What makes my work unique is the way I bridge the worlds of high-level leadership and deep spiritual wisdom, showing that strategy and soul are not only compatible—they’re essential partners. Right now, I’m focused on my Sacred Home; Aligned Life.™ program, which helps women leaders transform their homes into sanctuaries and their lives into ceremonies, creating a ripple effect of clarity, flow, and impact in everything they do.
In addition to my private practice, I bring my expertise into organizations as a Leadership Coach, Workplace Wellbeing Advisor, and Strategic Partner. I also have the pleasure of being the Leadership Faculty for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, and Gallup Strengths Coach and trainer for the FIU Center for Leadership. This work allows me to make a meaningful mark in cultivating engaged, resilient, and healthy leaders and work environments—spaces where people feel empowered to bring their best selves forward and where business results and human well-being thrive together.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that needs to be released is the version that overworks, overdelivers, and overextends in order to prove my value. For much of my career, I carried the belief that my worth was measured by how much I could do for others and how perfectly I could do it. That drive served me well in building a reputation, creating opportunities, and developing mastery—but it also kept me in cycles of depletion.
I have, and continue to release that old operating system and embrace a new one built on flow, trust, and reciprocity. I’m honoring that my presence, energy, and wisdom are enough—that leadership can be powerful without being exhausting, and that the most impactful work happens when we lead from a place of alignment rather than overexertion. This awareness fuels everything I do today, and it’s what makes the transformations I help create for others so deeply meaningful and fulfilling.
When did you last change your mind about something important?
Recently, I changed my mind about what true productivity really means. For years, I equated productivity with output—crossing things off my list, moving faster, and achieving more in less time. But I’ve come to realize that real productivity isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing the right things in the right energy. That shift has meant giving myself permission to slow down, prioritize rest, and trust that clarity creates better results than constant motion.
I’ve also learned to give myself the grace to change my mind moment-to-moment—something many of us shame ourselves for. We’re often taught that changing our mind means we’re inconsistent or unreliable, but I see it now as a sign of being present, self-aware, and responsive to what’s actually needed. This flexibility allows me to honor my truth as it unfolds and stay in alignment, even if it means adjusting the plan.
This change in perspective has not only made me more effective in my own life and business, but it’s also reshaped how I coach and lead others. I now teach that alignment is the highest form of productivity—and that when your energy, purpose, and actions are in sync, you accomplish more with far less struggle.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
I used to believe I had to fit in to be successful—that blending in, following the rules, and mirroring others was the safest way to be accepted and respected. At the time, it felt like self-protection, but looking back, I see it was a way of dimming my own light.
My truth today is the opposite: real success comes from showing up fully as my unique self and helping others do the same. I believe in living in integrity, honoring our natural gifts, and embracing our superpowers—even if they don’t fit a mold. In fact, it’s often the parts of ourselves that feel “too much” or “too different” that become the very things that set us apart and create our greatest impact.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If immortality were real, what would you build?
If immortality were real, I would build a living, breathing sanctuary for transformation—a place where leadership, spirituality, nature, and creativity meet. It would be part retreat center, part school, part temple, and part art installation, designed to evolve with the people and the seasons. Gardens would be laid out in sacred geometry, spaces would be infused with Feng Shui and elemental wisdom, and the walls would tell the stories of those who found their purpose there.
It wouldn’t just be a place to visit—it would be a legacy of continual renewal, a home for anyone seeking to remember who they truly are and to create their life from that truth. Because if I had forever, I’d want to spend it building spaces where others could discover their own magic, medicine, and miracles. Maybe I don’t have to wait—let’s see if this lifetime affords me the time, space, and resources to create it now! “-)
