Manuela Beato shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Manuela, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day typically start with a calming morning routine to set the tone for the day ahead. Here’s a breakdown:

Wake Up & Stretch (5 minutes) – I start with some light stretching to wake up my body gently.

Hydration (1 minute) – I drink a glass of water to rehydrate after a long night.

Mindfulness or Meditation (10 minutes) – A few minutes of deep breathing or meditation to center my mind.

Morning Reflection (5 minutes) – I take a moment to jot down my thoughts or affirmations to start the day positively.

Physical Activity (30 minutes) – I engage in some light exercise, whether it’s yoga, a brisk walk, or a quick workout to get the blood flowing.

Shower & Get Ready (20 minutes) – I refresh myself and get dressed for the day, setting myself up to feel good.

Healthy Breakfast (10 minutes) – I fuel my body with something nourishing, like a smoothie or oats.

Planning & Prioritizing (10 minutes) – I check my schedule, set my goals, and prioritize what’s most important for the day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I’m Manuela Beato, and I’m passionate about helping women create lives filled with intention, elegance, and freedom. I’m the founder of a brand that empowers women to embrace their full potential, both personally and professionally, through Empowered Living with Conscious and Feminine Minimalism.

At the core of my work is a philosophy that encourages women to live authentically, simplify their lives, and build successful online businesses that align with their values. Through my courses, coaching, and content, I guide women in enhancing their personal image, mastering communication, and harnessing their entrepreneurial spirit to create financial independence.

What makes my brand unique is the holistic approach I take, blending personal development, elegance, and entrepreneurship into a cohesive lifestyle that feels both attainable and aspirational. My goal is to equip women with the tools they need to succeed in every area of life while staying true to themselves.

Currently, I’m focused on expanding my community, creating resources that help women grow both personally and professionally, and encouraging them to embrace a minimalist yet luxurious approach to living. Whether it’s through digital marketing, passive income strategies, or simple yet powerful mindset shifts, I believe that every woman has the power to design a life she loves and deserves.

Right now, I’m working on new ways to help women monetize their skills, create businesses from their passions, and find fulfillment in every aspect of their journey.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I likely believed in my limitless potential—that anything was possible if I set my mind to it. There was a sense of boundless creativity and unshakable confidence, a belief that the world was open and full of opportunities just waiting to be explored. I also probably thought that being perfect or doing everything “right” would lead to acceptance and happiness.

As I grew older, I learned that life is more complex, and the idea of perfection can be limiting and stressful. I started to believe that failure or imperfections were things to avoid or be ashamed of, rather than opportunities to learn and grow. I also started to internalize the pressures of the world, leading to doubts about my abilities and questioning whether I was good enough as I was.

Now, I’ve come to understand that growth is not about perfection, but about embracing my evolving self. I no longer believe that I must constantly meet external expectations or be perfect. Instead, I believe in the power of self-compassion, resilience, and embracing imperfections as part of my unique journey.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would say, “You are enough just as you are, and your worth isn’t defined by anyone else’s expectations. Trust your instincts, embrace your uniqueness, and know that it’s okay to make mistakes—it’s all part of your journey. Don’t rush, the path will unfold exactly as it should, and everything you need will come in its own time.”

It’s a reminder to her to be kinder to herself, to trust the process, and to never lose sight of the strength within her.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people today, despite their intelligence and accomplishments, are often getting it totally wrong by overcomplicating things. In the pursuit of success, they sometimes forget the power of simplicity and mindfulness, getting bogged down in analysis, perfectionism, and striving for external validation.

In a world flooded with information and constant noise, many are neglecting the importance of mental health, emotional intelligence, and human connection. They might focus so much on strategy and efficiency that they miss the bigger picture of what truly matters: living with purpose, balance, and authenticity.

Additionally, overreliance on technology and data can sometimes overshadow the value of intuition and creativity. Smart people often get trapped in the need for logical answers to everything, overlooking the nuances of human experience and personal growth.

Finally, self-doubt and fear of failure still impact even the smartest minds, often leading them to avoid risks or opportunities for fear of making mistakes, when in fact, growth and breakthroughs often come from taking those very risks.

In short, it’s not always about being the smartest in the room; it’s about listening to yourself, staying grounded, and not losing sight of the human side of things.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I would regret not fully embracing the risks that come with living authentically and pushing past my comfort zone. I think I’d regret not taking bold steps to live more freely, to pursue projects and passions without second-guessing or holding back. Whether it’s starting a new venture, creating content, or forging deeper connections, I would regret not seizing the moment when opportunities present themselves.

I would also regret not being more vulnerable—not sharing more of my true self with the world, holding back the parts of me that could inspire, connect, and make an impact. I think in the end, it’s the things we didn’t say, the risks we didn’t take, and the opportunities we didn’t seize that stick with us.

Finally, I’d regret not taking more time to enjoy the small moments, to be fully present with loved ones, and to savor life’s simple joys. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle, but the real richness of life is found in the everyday connections and experiences.
