Today we’d like to introduce you to Dasha Kardosh.
Thank you for having me! My passion for beauty and fashion began early, growing up in a creative environment surrounded by high fashion runways, red carpets, and backstage moments. Although I later explored various industries,I found myself in architecture, drawn by its creativity and structure, and executive leadership roles, drawn by the challenge of strategic thinking, decision-making, and building something impactful from the ground up. Yet no matter where my path led, I always felt a deep connection to the world of glam, beauty, and fashion.
That connection led me back to my roots. After earning my esthetician license at Elevate School, I re-entered the industry as a makeup artist. My first U.S. event was with Fusion Fashion, followed by New York Fashion Week with Book of Beauty, where I sharpened my skills. After that I joined the official Milan Fashion Week. That marked a turning point, elevating my work to high-end artistry. From there, everything took off.
Today, I’m proud to blend artistry, elegance, and connection as an international makeup artist for celebrities, pageants, luxury brands, and major productions, while inspiring creatives worldwide. My mission is to create a space that celebrates beauty, inspires confidence, and empowers others to feel their best, inside and out, through art and authentic connection.
How did I get where I am today? Through relentless focus, passion, and resilience. I’ve turned obstacles into opportunities and never stopped growing, evolving, and pushing forward.
The road has definitely had its challenges, but I believe that every industry, and especially the creative space, requires resilience, clarity, and continuous growth. Success doesn’t happen overnight, and the beauty industry is no exception. I’ve faced moments that tested my patience and determination, but I’ve always approached them as opportunities to learn, evolve, and elevate my craft.
The biggest challenge was starting from zero and wearing many hats while building a brand in a competitive industry. My focus has always been on delivering exceptional work and making every client feel valued and confident.
Building something meaningful takes clarity, passion, and commitment, and that’s where I choose to put my energy every single day.
Along the way, I also saw the importance of creating spaces where beauty professionals are respected and valued for their artistry. That’s what inspired me to build The House of Beauty, a brand that empowers creatives, delivers top-tier results, and sets a new standard in the industry.
We’ve been impressed with The House of Beauty, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The House of Beauty, which was recently recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Beauty Brands from IBA (International Beauty Awards) is a beauty brand specializing in high-end makeup and hair styling services for different occasions. We’re known for creating personalized, elevated beauty experiences that reflect each client’s individuality.
We have a team that works across fashion shows, fashion weeks, and photoshoots, and a dedicated bridal and special events team specializing in weddings, quinceañeras, and milestone celebrations.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail, professionalism, and deep understanding of beauty as both an art and a feeling. Every client matters. They’re not just a time slot. We take the time to understand their essence and make them feel truly seen and empowered. Besides that, as a licensed esthetician, I also emphasize the importance of skin care and its preparation. I’m super selective and strict about all the products I use on myself as well as my clients skin. I analyze every product in detail, and select only the best quality.
We’re not just about beauty. We’re about confidence, connection, and creating unforgettable experiences.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I’ve had mentors in different forms, some directly, and others from afar. I took many courses, bootcamps and masterclasses (besides esthetician and beauty education, also about business, mindset, social media, etc) and attended a lot of different events. A lot of what I’ve learned has come from experience, trial and error, but nothing beats having proper guidance through mentorship. I’ve also been fortunate to work alongside inspiring professionals in the industry who’ve taught me valuable lessons about artistry, business, and personal branding.
I believe that mentorship is essential, which is why I try to give back by mentoring others. Especially young artists and entrepreneurs trying to find their way in the industry.
Overall skills, mentorship and network go together hand in hand.
And at the end of the day, beauty is more than just a look. It’s how you show up in the world. My mission is to help people step into their most confident, radiant selves, whether they’re walking down the aisle, stepping onto a runway, or making a statement on the red carpet. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I’m excited for what’s next.
