Daily Inspiration: Meet Ariana Andres

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariana Andres.

Hi Ariana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started working as a model for 5 years and then I got pregnant at a very young age and realized I needed to change paths but I loved the beauty industry so I stayed in it but just switched paths and started makeup. It has been so much fun so far. I have done plenty of weddings, events, grads and I worked Miami Swim Week this year. Working the runway was a very personal experience for me as a model because I got to see the other side and all the work that goes into the shows backstage.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall my experience as a makeup artist has been quite smooth. But with everything there are struggles- with having my son at 18 it was difficult because I felt I didn’t have much time to get everything that I wanted done but I try to work with his nap times and my parents have been very supportive with helping me when I need time to work

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a professional makeup artist. I specialize in bridal applications but I do everything. I am known for my kind, outgoing and personal personality all my clients express how comfortable they feel in my chair. I am most proud of my dedication to become better for my clients everyday. I am constantly going to classes, watching videos and researching different products to make my art stand out. Having modelling as a background makes me stand out because I can strongly relate to the people in my chair and I know what I didn’t like as a model and I understand how to work around those situations.

What makes you happy?
When my clients leave my chair with a smile and glow on their face knowing I did exactly what they wanted and more
