From Humble Beginnings to Bridal Glamour: The Inspiring Journey of Grazi de Paula
Born into a poor family in Brazil, I never imagined I’d become a sought-after beauty professional.
I didn’t grow up doing nails, hair, or makeup I thought I wasn’t capable,
With no money for college in my dream field, I studied teaching. But years later, after moving to the U.S., everything changed. I enrolled in beauty school in Boston while raising two kids. leaving my youngest at home for the first time was heartbreaking.
I almost quit, but my teacher believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself
Just three months before graduation, i was offered my first wedding. Even though I didn’t know if she could do it.
I trusted God, studied nonstop, and gave it my all. The bride and her party loved it and that’s when I started believing in myself.
Today, I’m a successful makeup artist and hairstylist, hired by high-end clients who value my work.
I learned that you don’t need to be born with talent, you can build it with faith and dedication.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not, the road has been anything but smooth. The struggles are changing career beacuse you don’t have enough money, and also change to something that you never did before. Also going to a beauty school in US was a big challenge because of the language barrier

I’m a bridal makeup artist and hairstylist known for creating soft, timeless looks that photograph beautifully and last all day. While I love working with brides of all ages, I’m especially passionate about helping women over 40 feel confident and radiant in their own skin. I focus on enhancing natural beauty with techniques that flatter mature features.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect deeply with my clients and make them feel seen, valued, and beautiful not just on the outside, but from within. I’m most proud of turning something I once thought I couldn’t do into a career that now blesses others.
