Life & Work with Stacy Bianchi of Coconut Creek

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Bianchi.

Hi Stacy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My passion for interior design goes all the way back to childhood, it was always something that lit me up. But as life unfolded, that passion took a back seat to other opportunities. My professional background actually began in hospitality, and later, during my first pregnancy with my daughter Chloe, I felt called to make a more meaningful career change. That’s when I entered the medical field and became a registered nurse.

I found deep purpose in emergency medicine, especially during the challenges of the pandemic. However, as much as I loved caring for others, the work was incredibly heavy, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something else was calling me, something creative, joyful, and restorative.

When I was pregnant with my third child, Noa, I made the decision to step away from nursing to focus on my family and reflect on what the next chapter of my life could be. Around that time, friends and loved ones began asking why I wasn’t pursuing interior design more seriously, it was so clearly a passion of mine, and they saw how much joy it brought me.

With encouragement from those closest to me, and with the support of my husband Jorge, who’s been in the home improvement industry for years and is truly my partner in this journey, I decided to take the leap. We launched Bianchi Made Home, and within a year, the growth and response have exceeded anything I could have imagined. Today, I wake up each day feeling honored and grateful to create peaceful, beautiful spaces that help people feel truly at home.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like with any new chapter, the transition came with its fair share of challenges and truthfully, I think that’s something people don’t talk about enough. I was a first-time business owner, stepping into a completely new space where I wasn’t just offering a service, I was building a brand from the ground up that needed to reflect who I am and the kind of value I could bring to my clients’ lives and homes.

Navigating that was intimidating at times. Interior design is such a personal expression, and I wanted every element of Bianchi Made Home, from the way we present ourselves online to the way we interact with our clients, to feel deeply authentic and thoughtful. That meant learning everything from business strategy and marketing to client management, while also staying true to my creative vision and voice.

There were moments of self-doubt, especially in the early days when I wondered if I was ‘qualified’ enough to build a brand in this industry without having followed a traditional path. But ultimately, those struggles became my greatest teachers. They reminded me that bringing heart, integrity, and genuine passion to the work is just as important, if not more so, than any credential.

Now, I feel incredibly proud of the business we’re building, one that not only reflects who I am as a designer, but also as a person who values connection, beauty, and creating spaces that truly serve the people living in them.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in residential interior design, though I’ve also had the chance to dabble in styling a few commercial spaces. What I’m really known for is creating spaces that feel deeply personal, blending different styles to design homes that are authentic, peaceful, and truly reflective of the people living in them. I want every space I touch to evoke a feeling, not just look beautiful, but tell a story.

What I’m most proud of is the brand we’ve built with Bianchi Made Home and the example I’m setting for my family, that starting over can be beautiful, and that following your own, non-traditional path can lead to something you truly love.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about my city is that it’s truly home. I’ve lived here my entire life, and over the years, I’ve been able to build such a strong sense of community, both personally and professionally. Having my family, friends, and now my business rooted here makes it feel even more special.

If I had to pick something I like less, I’d say the culture can sometimes feel a bit fast-paced and transactional. I really value building genuine, lasting relationships through my interactions and work, so I always try to bring that personal touch into everything I do.
