Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Bustamante.
Alexandra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started when i was 15 years old, after my father gave me a popcorn machine. at first, i asked myself, what am i going to do with this ? My first idea was to take it to a school on a celebration day and sell popcorn.
Afterwards, I focused on bringing my popcorn proposal to schools, and I would receive calls informing me that my proposal had been approved. Hearing each call was a true joy for me. From that experience in schools, I learned a great deal, as I sold all my products. Later, I dedicated myself to studying business administration and applied my profession to my project. Over the years, I became a wedding planner, as it is something I am passionate about—turning your celebrations into unforgettable moments.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The challenge was Taking on such a big responsibility at such a young age, but that experience shaped me into the person I am today-commited to every project I take on.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
This idea was born from a lifelong desire. i had always wanted a popcorn machine, and one day my father gifted me one. I began taking it to schools to sell popcorn, and soon i started receiving invitations to birthday parties , where i offered a unique experrience: making the product live at the event. we created coloful and flavored popcorn, turning in into a fun an memorable part of the celebration.
my greatest pride is that, since i was a child, I always dreamed of having my own business. Today, that dream has become a reallity. we´ve been in the market for 15 years, and we are proud to be pioneers in bringing popcorn machines to events.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is from when I was selling popcorn at soccer game. there was a boy, I had a crush on who played every saturday, and he he would always buy popcorn from me. I must admit, I was so shy, I never wanted to chargge him and always felt like giving it to him for free.
