Today we’d like to introduce you to Jorge Martinez Gualdron.
Jorge, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
As a young man, I was a model for my uncle and grandfather, each who had great passions for photography. That soon followed me at the age of 12. With my father buying me my first camera. Which I shot pictures of everything that moved! As college came about I bought myself a camera called ´Cannon Reflex´ that awoke my passion for photojournalist. That soon became a lifetime job of mine here in the United States of America.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
What I do as a photojournalist for print media in Colombia and photo street. That is inspired by the average person with an average life. As well as their lifestyle, I later moved into portrait photography to find the feeling and emotion of that of the common people that come in the live show. I soon started to mix the color feel to black and white, as to start to make magic in a darkroom. Once I started to develop the films and print pictures.
With Technology advancing, I leaned towards music photography. Where I have happily worked for over 15 years. Being the major field of success of my work. for the last years in the united states. I have focused on fashion and product photography without leaving all my other felids of photography. working with fashion designers and mass media print and digital.
There’s nothing more inspiring to me as a photographer as mother nature and the daily routines of the average humans. Because I firmly believe that humans haven’t been able to find themselves. I hope people see my work as well as take away that to me my work is not a job but a pathway for others to find themselves.

Yes, it’s all about being outgoing open minded, go out there and follow the art it will lead you to find others!
