Daily Inspiration: Meet Jessica Steinlauf

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Steinlauf.

Hi Jessica, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started teaching yoga, fitness, & Pilates classes about 20 years ago when I was a second grade school teacher. I decided that I absolutely loved what I do and wanted to make it a full time occupation. Throughout my career I hosted numerous yoga workshops, worldwide wellness retreats, and assisted in teacher trainings.

After teaching for so many years I developed my own method called Jessica Beth Fitness. This incorporates all of my areas of training into 1 class that integrates Pilates, strength training, and flexibility to give you an amazing full body workout,

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Obstacles that I have had in my career is marketing myself on social media and staying updated on the new trends.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in choreographing my classes to create the perfect recipe of a full body workout. I am extremely creative when I sequence my classes, but I also make sure that they are accessible to all types of people. I have a very extensive dance background and can just feel exactly what a thorough and effective workout would be with each routine I create.

I think what sets me apart from others is my experience, knowledge, and background. I am constantly learning and evolving so I can stay motivated and motivate others.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have had clients that have been with me for over 20 years and their support means the world to me. They motivate me to motivate them. I love the energy in the room when the class is packed and everyone is on the same wavelength. It really pumps me up to give a fantastic class.

My good friend Rachel Bash is also a yoga, fitness, and Pilates instructor. She has been teaching as long as me and I always call her to get advice and bounce ideas off of. She is my teammate and I respect what a hard worker she is.
