Hi Gastón, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into digital marketing started over 15 years ago, driven by a passion for innovation and data-driven strategies. I built my career working with global brands like Coca-Cola and Avon Cosmetics, where I gained invaluable experience in brand strategy, marketing analytics, and consumer engagement. These roles shaped my understanding of how businesses connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

In 2018, I founded Toucan Insights, a digital marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses grow sustainably through SEO, content marketing, social media strategy, and paid advertising. My vision was to create an agency that didn’t just execute campaigns but focused on data-backed strategies to drive real, measurable growth. Since then, we’ve worked with companies across 30+ countries, providing them with marketing solutions tailored to their unique needs.

Beyond the agency, I’ve been fortunate to lecture at prestigious universities and have my insights featured in leading publications like Forbes. I believe that constant learning and adaptation are key in the ever-evolving digital space, and that’s what continues to drive me and the work we do at Toucan Insights today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all—it’s been an exciting but challenging journey. Like any entrepreneurial path, building Toucan Insights came with its share of obstacles.

One of the biggest challenges was establishing credibility in a highly competitive digital marketing landscape. When we started, we were competing against well-established agencies, and convincing businesses to trust us with their marketing strategies required persistence, a strong portfolio, and consistently delivering results.

Another key challenge was scaling the agency while maintaining high-quality service. As demand for our services grew, we had to expand our team and processes while ensuring that every client received the same level of strategic attention and data-driven insights.

Additionally, digital marketing is an ever-evolving industry, with constant shifts in algorithms, consumer behavior, and technology. Staying ahead required continuous learning, adapting to trends, and ensuring our strategies remained innovative and effective.

Despite the hurdles, these experiences have made us stronger. They pushed us to refine our approach, focus on long-term client success, and build a reputation based on trust and measurable results. Looking back, I wouldn’t trade the challenges for anything—they’ve been essential in shaping the agency and the way we work today.
