Rising Stars: Meet Letycia Ory of Delray Beach, FL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Letycia Ory

Letycia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey into pelvic floor therapy and creating Anatomie Pelvic Health began with a passion for movement, wellness, and empowering others. From early on, I’ve been a strong advocate for mobility and educating patients about longevity and prevention. I truly believe everyone deserves to understand their bodies and feel empowered to take control of their health.

During my time at the University of Miami, where I earned my doctorate, I became fascinated by how movement and rehabilitation could do so much more than just address pain — it could enhance overall function and improve quality of life. That’s also when I discovered pelvic floor therapy, a field that’s often overlooked but incredibly impactful. I saw how many women were silently dealing with issues that were either misunderstood or brushed aside by the healthcare system.

After completing a few continuing education courses, I knew this was the direction I wanted to pursue. That training opened my eyes to how powerful the right treatment could be, inspiring me to create Anatomie Pelvic Health in Delray Beach, Florida. My goal was to offer specialized, compassionate care where women feel truly heard and supported.

But more than that, I wanted to build something different — a space that feels warm, welcoming, and aesthetically pleasing, far from the cold, clinical settings women often associate with healthcare. My aim is for every patient to leave feeling lighter than when they walked in, empowered by the knowledge and care they’ve received.

I’ve always been passionate about education and advocacy. Being a voice in the healthcare field and making a meaningful impact in our community continues to drive me. Whether I’m hosting workshops, partnering with local fitness studios, or leading Q&As for postpartum moms, it’s all about equipping women with the knowledge and resources they need to feel confident about their health.

Through Anatomie Pelvic Health, I strive to bridge the gap in pelvic floor education and help women embrace their bodies’ potential. Whether it’s enhancing athletic performance, navigating postpartum recovery, or simply improving quality of life, my mission is to make a lasting, positive impact on everyone I work with.

I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and advocating for women’s health, one patient at a time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a private practice definitely came with challenges, especially navigating the business side and building awareness around pelvic floor health. But I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the support of close friends and family throughout the process. Their encouragement has been invaluable in helping me push through obstacles and stay focused on my mission.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Anatomie Pelvic Health, we specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy, addressing issues like incontinence, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, and prolapse. We work with a diverse group of women, including Pilates enthusiasts, pregnant/postpartum women, and those new to pelvic care. I’m proud of our client-centered approach, combining functional exercises to empower clients to take control of their health.

What are your plans for the future?
My goal for the future is to expand Anatomie Pelvic Health, reaching more people and making pelvic floor therapy more accessible. I’m excited to continue advocating for women’s health, raising awareness, and offering more workshops to empower individuals. I also plan to collaborate with other health professionals to create a broader impact in the community.
