Today we’d like to introduce you to Magdalena Galarraga
Hi Magdalena, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Argentina, and since very young I always had a curious and creative mind. I was very passionate about design, fashion, art and storytelling. I would spend hours online learning about all the different fashion designers, painters, graphic designers, that had shaped our world.
This led me to move to London at 18 years old to do my bachelor at the prestigious fashion and design school Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art, where I later graduated as digital designer.
During the 4 years I lived in London, I had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the fashion and design world by working at Mary Katrantzou (known for her innovative digital prints), AucArt (an online art auction house for emerging artists), and Mahlia Kent in Paris (renowned for its high-tech weaving fabrics used by Chanel, Dior, and other top fashion houses). I was also freelancing and providing consulting and design services to fashion and e-commerce brands in Europe and Latin America.
I then decided to join my family’s creative agency, Brainding, which my father founded in 2001. It was here that I discovered my passion for building close relationships with clients—helping brands refine their identity and become the best version of themselves. Starting from listening to how a company came to be, all the way to helping them redefine their strategy, create a brand identity and more. I also started to further explore my passion for tech, by advising tech companies in the AI and Blockchain space.
Today, my work continues to be driven by that same passion for design, storytelling, and technology—helping brands not only stand out visually but create meaningful connections with their audiences. Every day and every client is a new challenge that I’m excited to tackle.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you are a creative and curious person, you are constantly challenging yourself and your creative limits, constantly moving and never settling in a comfort zone. For me, those struggles were also what pushed me to never stop building, trying new things, and what led me to move countries numerous times.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Brainding, our mission has been clear since 2001: we help create timeless brands that captivate audiences and build iconic legacies.
We believe every great brand starts with a single, inspired idea—and that’s where we come in.
We offer 360° services that range from branding, identity design, strategy, web design, social media content creation, animation and video production.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Don’t focus too much on finding the right networking event or conference all the time – you might meet your next client or business partner at a pilates class.
