Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Hernandez
Hi Michelle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Michelle, who is behind my business of @michistouch. I want to start by introducing myself. I have been doing freelance makeup since my senior year of high school and that has been 9 years. In between those past years, I went to Miami Dade College. I have a degree in an AA in the Arts. Also I studied at Beauty Schools of America. I have been working at Macy’s Dadeland in the cosmetic department for 8 years. I worked closely with a brand name Bobbi Brown Cosmetics for 6 years. I hosted master class with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Also I have had the opportunity to work behind the scenes of Miami Swim Week and New York Fashion Week. I recently attended Paul Mitchell Beauty School to receive a Cosmetology License.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If I have any challenges in the future, I would always say my motto. Which is everything happens for a reason. Push through and overcome.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am experience in different services such as full makeup and hairstyles for weddings, special events, fashion shows.
Also I can host private makeup classes or parties.
What makes you happy?
I love seeing the reaction of all my clients when they feel beautiful. On my free time I enjoy spending time at Walt Disney World. I am big Disney fan. I feel I can escape reality and any stress I have and enjoy my time at Disney world.
