Brianna’s Story: Preparing for the Perfect Purchase
In the midst of the pandemic, I set out to fulfill my dream of investing in real estate. After saving up, I made my first attempt to purchase a condo, only to face every challenge imaginable. My realtor went silent, and the seller remained unresponsive. On the day of closing, I discovered the property had been sold days earlier, leaving me with nothing but frustration. Determined to not let this setback define me, I fought in court and successfully reclaimed my deposit. That experience ignited my passion for real estate and fueled my mission to ensure others—especially those who look like me—never face such a disappointing, disheartening experience. As a first-generation Jamaican-American, I’ve seen firsthand the power of homeownership and business success. My parents fought hard to build a better future, and I’m now continuing that legacy. Today, at 25, I’m a realtor serving the State of Florida and the founder of an investment firm dedicated to educating others about real estate and property management. I believe owning a home should be an accessible, transparent process for everyone, regardless of race, age, or background—especially for immigrants, like my parents, who have worked tirelessly to make it possible.

I believe that when a person is called to something, it makes the journey more manageable. Personally, I’m driven, and the unwavering support from my loved ones has made a significant difference. My faith in Christ is also essential, as it helps me view challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles. This mindset has been a blessing.
