Today we’d like to introduce you to Alison Chambers
Hi Alison, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Complete Canine Training was founded upon the idea that every dog and human pair has individualized needs for their training journey. After working for another training company that provided mediocre results, I wanted to develop a high end training experience to owners that went above and beyond their expectations. Complete Canine’s brand was founded based on the client experience- we strive to provide a concierge like service that assures the owner that their dog can achieve things beyond their goals.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not exactly. One of the best things that happened to me was breaking four ribs at the peak of Covid- this forced me to hone my verbiage and coaching since I was strictly hands off from handling dogs for over six months. Running a business has forced me to become more creative- we pride our brand on problem solving and achieving substantial goals. We tackle problems head on!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Complete Canine is known for taking on the most difficult behavior cases when it comes to pet ownership. We help struggling dog owners navigate animal and human aggression, leash reactivity, integrate large packs of dogs, solve separation anxiety, reverse destructive behaviors, and more. My best skill is helping humans understand the reasons behind what’s driving their dogs behavior issues, and help them learn to solve them on their own. We also work exclusively in private sessions- there’s no need to ship your dog off for weeks at a time. We go right to the home and start there. Complete Canine goes above and beyond by providing an exceptional customer service throughout the entire training program. Many of our clients have worked with other trainers with no success, and we want to make sure our client’s know we have their back while training with us.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Dog training is an unregulated industry, so I’ll make sure to take the least amount of risk as possible. I provide certainty to my clients when they don’t have it- and my job is to set them up for success by making sure they have attainable goals. We do enough risk taking by working with the business end of the dog. My job is to make sure I am providing the best method possible for each dog and human pair- safety is paramount for everyone involved.
