Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We are Latinas based in the United States and Mexico, driven by a deep desire to preserve and promote the Spanish language and Latin culture for future generations. Recognizing a gap in the market, we launched our channel to provide high quality, educational content that is entirely in Spanish. It was created as an alternative to overstimulating media, focusing on interactive content designed to nurture language and cognitive development.
It has been incredibly rewarding to see our channel reach and support hundreds of thousands of ‘peques’ while also fostering an amazing community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road—like any entrepreneurial journey, we’ve faced challenges along the way. One of the biggest hurdles has been navigating the learning curve of building a digital platform from scratch. From content production to understanding algorithms and distribution channels, there’s been a lot to learn, often through trial and error. Another challenge has been balancing our creative vision with the practicalities of running a business. As a team of moms and professionals, managing time and resources while staying true to our mission requires constant adaptation.
Despite these struggles, the heartfelt messages we receive from families and the joy we see in ‘peques’ engaging with our content make it all worthwhile. Every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, and these experiences continue to fuel our commitment to improving and expanding our reach.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Aprende Peque, we specialize in creating high-quality, educational content 100% in Spanish for young children. Our mission is to support language and cognitive development, as well as cultural preservation through engaging music, storytelling, and movement-based activities.
We are known for our modern adaptations of traditional Latin songs, incorporating rhythms and lyrics that are fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate.
Another important differentiator is that our content is intentionally non-overstimulating. We aim to create a an interactive experience by simulating video call-like interactions where peques can engage directly with Isa. Additionally, we use slow transitions and light colors to foster a focused learning environment.
What we’re most proud of is the impact we’ve made in reaching hundreds of thousands of ‘peques’ across the globe. Hearing stories from families about how our content has helped their children learn and connect with their heritage fills us with gratitude and purpose.
