Exploring Life & Business with Sandra Alli of Pepper By Nature

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandra Alli

Hi Sandra, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Pepper By Nature all natural condiments was created from my childhood science fair projects based on food concerns. One project was focused on what types of sauces did consumers like? and what ingredients were in the sauces? The result at the time were that most people enjoyed ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and lemon juice simply because this was all they’ve known, the traditional sauces. As a child this did not make sense to me because I was a picky eater and I did not like any of those sauces or flavors; plain and seasoned food tastes perfectly fine to me until this day. Now as an adult I am still addressing food concerns from my natural love of fruits, vegetables, health, wellness, the outdoors, being creative and cooking.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Becoming an entrepreneur hasn’t been the easiest road to travel because when you don’t get the help or lack the resources you tend to do a lot of the leg work yourself which leads to information overload. Here you begin to sort out all the information and use what is necessary at the time to get the task accomplished, so much is unknown to you until you really immerse yourself into your industry niche and get involved with your consumers. When you become more knowledgeable and gain valuable experiences that’s when the road gets the smoothest it has been until you run into another crossroad, detour, struggle or challenge. You”ll find yourself going through this as long as your are going through your journey as entrepreneur. As time progresses you”ll become a seasoned veteran while developing your brand, business, and meeting others just like yourself.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I created Pepper By Nature for so many reasons as a childhood science experiment, entrepreneurial curiosity, creativity, an outlet meet like minded people, love of the outdoors, peppers, unexpected experiences and building new relationships. I had dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, however none of what I pursued worked out for me until I stopped pursing different businesses and my dreams finally caught up with me while being unemployed and underemployed I developed my old niche of working with sauces, through plants, herbs, peppers and thats when the thought struck me this my childhood dream a business working with food and satisfying others curiosity plus my own curiosity.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Living a purposeful life, filled with joys and overcoming obstacles becoming my best self in the process of learning, understanding and serving others. Having the opportunity to experience new experiences on my  entrepreneurial journey meeting new people, learning about other businesses, cultures, services, skills, technology, and travel. Creating a life that I love through doing what I love personally. Being open to life beyond my comfort zone and adapting to what comes with the changes and experiences.
