Megan Aderele, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far. Online personal branding expert, business strategist and empowerment speaker, are just some of The Aditu Agency’s CEO, Megan Davis Aderele, MBA wears. Megan educates and empowers helps female entrepreneurs and small business owners to build solid growth strategies so that they can take their businesses and personal brands to the next level.

After being laid off from Corporate America 3 times, she struggled with “finding sustainable employment” and realized that she could no longer be reliant on her “good job”. She made it her personal mission to assist corporate professional be transitioned into “CEO- ship” on their terms. She created her signature program “Positioned to Transition” that helps others to identify what they’re truly called to do, achieve their goals and be positioned to become the best possible version of their true self.”

Megan consults high potential women and businesses looking to: build their businesses and brands with the use of modern marketing strategies to create an online lead and sales funnel that consistently generates high quality leads into their business.

Megan believes that you must focus on the following areas of your business: Smarter Goal setting, perfecting you “positioning (elevator) pitch”, online and offline content branding and marketing, operating in a profitable business model and investing in personal and professional development.

Megan combines her BS degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, her Master’s in Business Administration and her real-world knowledge of managing corporate and small business, communications, Public Relations, business development, teaching, workshop development, lead generation and social media to help serious woman entrepreneurs and small businesses to leverage their expertise to make sustainable revenue.

As a wife and mother of 4, she understands first how “how to balance”. She works with her clients to help them develop their business strategies and help them execute their ideas. Through online courses, in- person workshop facilitation and consulting, Megan teaches her clients how to leverage the corporate strategies she’s mastered to build multiple streams of income. Her personal mission is to increase the representation of women of color in higher level leadership positions in Corporate America an in entrepreneurship.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you? At the age of 12, Megan unexpectedly lost both of her parents within weeks of each other. So statistically, many odds have been against her. She struggled with depression. Megan “did what she thought she was supposed to do” … go to college and get a good job. She applied for 1,000s of jobs only to be told “you’re over qualified, you don’t meet the min. requirements, or the dreaded … nothing”.

“With each and every lay- off it taught me a new life and business lesson. It taught me to be grateful, to be humble but most importantly new survival techniques. No- life is not smooth. It’s bumpy, It’s wavy. It has its ups and down. There’s no easy path in life or in business- you just have to get there. Once you get there and before you’re on to your new assignment, you have to be sure that you’re pulling as many people as you can with you because sometime you don’t go through things for you but to help others along their way” ~ Megan Davis Aderele, MBA
