Check Out Janice Estrada’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Janice Estrada

Hi Janice, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was first introduced to calligraphy in 2018 as a way to make fun headers for my journaling. As I learned more, I quickly fell in love with this hobby and began perfecting the skill. After getting engaged in 2020, the worlds of calligraphy and weddings collided in the most beautiful way. I discovered such a passion within myself for bringing the art of calligraphy and design to the wedding industry. I decided to learn as much as I could about both of these industries and in 2023, I finally decided pulled the plug and started Lettered with Love, LLC, my stationery and signage business.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a new business has definitely been an experience and has not been without its challenges. Organic growth has always been important to me and one of the struggles we faced at the beginning was growing our clientele. We’ve learned so much along the way and are beyond proud of the growth we’ve experienced so far. What has been so beneficial is how each challenge proves to be a learning experience that helps us improve and get better with time.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
What sets Lettered with Love apart from others is not only our modern calligraphy style, but also the love we put into every single piece we create. From birthdays and baby showers to weddings and corporate events, we create custom stationery and signage for all! We are known for working one on one with our customers to create unique and beautiful pieces and we pay the highest attention to detail. At Lettered with Love, we take our name seriously, and quite literally letter (and create) everything with love!

How do you define success?
I define success as creating a positive impact, whether through meaningful relationships or helping others, and balancing the things I’m passionate about—my family, my work, and my personal growth—while staying true to my values. In my work, success is about delivering high-quality results that exceed expectations while making the process enjoyable and stress-free for my clients.
