Anastasiia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Since childhood, I’ve always loved creating beauty and bringing joy to people. My father’s camera was passed down to me, and it became my gateway to the world of photography and film. I started by capturing nature, animals, and food, and I truly enjoyed the process of shooting and developing film. It was my space for self-realization. As I grew, my love for photography evolved, and I began exploring different genres, eventually finding my true passion in fashion photography. Each step of my journey has been shaped by a desire to push my creative boundaries and bring something new to my work.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but I believe challenges are what push us to grow. One of the biggest hurdles for me was moving to the United States and overcoming the language barrier. Adjusting to a new country, culture, and language was a significant challenge, but it also fueled my determination to succeed in my craft.
In addition to that, I’m always on the lookout for new ideas, beautiful locations, and studios that align with my vision. Whether it’s finding the perfect spot for a shoot or developing a unique concept, I strive to bring freshness to every project. Interestingly, many people compliment me on my accent and often ask if I’m French, which always makes me smile.

I specialize in fashion photography, and my work is focused on creating captivating visuals that bring out the unique essence of each subject. My primary clients include modeling agencies, models, and individuals seeking not just striking photos but an immersive experience throughout the entire process. From conceptualizing the shoot, selecting locations, to the final post-production touches, I handle every aspect to ensure the final product reflects a cohesive artistic vision.
What sets me apart is my holistic approach to photography. I don’t just capture moments; I create an atmosphere where the subject feels empowered, confident, and natural. My extensive background in the advertising industry, with over 15 years of experience, has helped shape my ability to see beauty in both the creative and technical sides of production. This allows me to be meticulous about lighting, angles, and overall composition while maintaining an emotional connection with the client.
I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me. Knowing that they feel comfortable enough to let me guide the creative process from start to finish is incredibly rewarding. It allows me to deliver a product that exceeds their expectations while staying true to my artistic vision.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe the most important quality that has contributed to my success is adaptability. In photography, every shoot is different—whether it’s the location, the lighting, or the client’s vision—so being able to adjust quickly and creatively is crucial. This flexibility allows me to stay calm and focused, even when unexpected challenges arise, and ensures that I can deliver the best results regardless of the circumstances.
Another key characteristic is my attention to detail. Whether it’s the way light falls on a subject or how colors interact in an image, I believe that the small details make all the difference in creating a visually stunning photograph. My clients trust me to bring this level of precision and care to each project, and I think that has been essential to building lasting relationships and a successful career.
