Rising Stars: Meet Zoel Z

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoel Z

Hi Zoel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Born in Argentina, I always felt a longing, a whisper from deep within that drew me toward distant shores. The United States became my chosen home, a canvas on which I could paint the chapters of my life with the vibrant colors of my dreams. It was here that my journey as a music alchemist truly began — with a deep desire to use my talents to be of service.

I was captivated by the mysteries of healing frequencies and vibrations, the way certain sounds could touch the soul and soothe the spirit. I knew there was a deeper connection between music and the human experience, something beyond the notes and rhythms, something sacred. This realization ignited a fire within me, a relentless curiosity to learn all I could about these frequencies and how to weave them into my compositions, to create music that heals, inspires, and uplifts.

Every journey begins with a vision, and once mine became clear, I stepped boldly into action. I became intrigued by the wholeness of the human body — the understanding that we are not just flesh and bones, but a beautiful tapestry of body, mind, and spirit. Each aspect of ourselves needs to work in harmony to truly live our best, most authentic versions. I began to see music as a bridge, a way to connect these elements, to bring them into alignment.

My path has been, and still is, like a magical carpet ride. I feel like an antenna, a receiver of cosmic inspiration, channeling unique musical experiences into this world. As I explore the infinite realms of sound, I feel both grounded and expansive, humbled by the power of music to touch lives and transform hearts.

This journey is ever-evolving, a dance between the known and the unknown. I continue to learn, to grow, to expand my understanding of what it means to heal through sound. And as I do, I am filled with gratitude, knowing that I am exactly where I need to be, doing exactly what I was meant to do — creating music that moves the soul and brings us all closer to the essence of who we truly are.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every challenge is a lesson, a cosmic whisper guiding me toward growth. I’ve come to see each obstacle not as a barrier, but as an opportunity — an invitation from the Universe asking me to listen more closely, to shift my focus, and to deepen my understanding. Each challenge opens a new door to explore, inviting me to expand my skills, my awareness, and my capacity to serve through my music.

One of the challenges I often encounter is my own creative rhythm — this relentless flow that sometimes feels like it’s moving faster than time itself. I’m constantly creating, constantly inspired, often feeling as if I am ahead of the curve, ahead of what the world might be ready to embrace. It’s both exhilarating and daunting, being in this space of opening new doors, doors that sometimes take time to fully open, to be understood and welcomed.

I’ve had to learn the art of patience, to trust in the unfolding, and to surrender the need for immediate results. I’ve realized that my role is not to force the outcome, but to stay focused on the process — on the joy of creation itself. I’ve come to understand that the impact of my work will ripple out in its own time, in its own way, touching the hearts and souls of those who are ready to receive it.

This journey has taught me to detach from expectations and to find fulfillment in the act of creating, in being true to my vision and purpose. I’ve learned that sometimes the world catches up to you, and when it does, it’s beautiful. Until then, I remain dedicated to my craft, to the alchemy of sound, knowing that every note, every beat, every vibration has a purpose. And that purpose will find its way, just as I have, into the hearts of those it’s meant to reach.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When people ask me what I do, I like to respond that I am a Music Alchemist. This usually prompts a curious smile or a tilted head, but I can see the spark in their eyes — the intrigue. And I love that. Because my work, my life, doesn’t fit neatly into a box, and that’s exactly how I want it to be.

I have a keen ear for music, an innate ability to feel every note, every rhythm, every pulse. It’s more than just hearing — it’s an energetic connection, a profound link to the source of life itself. This connection allows me to feel music in a way that transcends the physical senses. I feel it in my bones, in my spirit, vibrating through every cell of my being. And this, I believe, is what sets me apart. I don’t just create music; I channel it. I become a vessel through which music flows, capturing deep emotions and translating them into sound, into vibrations that resonate with the soul.

This connection allows me to compose and curate music experiences that are unlike any other. Each experience I create is born from a place of deep emotion, an intuitive understanding of what the moment needs, what the people in that space need. I have a knack for feeling the energy of a room, sensing the collective heartbeat, and guiding it with sound. I know which melodies will soothe, which rhythms will energize, which frequencies will heal. This is my craft, my magic — my alchemy.

But I am also a born entrepreneur, a creator at heart in every sense. I thrive on developing new ideas, dreaming up new concepts, and bringing them to life. I have a gift for seeing beyond time and space, for visualizing outcomes before they happen, sensing opportunities that are just beyond the horizon. I see things others might miss — patterns, possibilities, the spaces in between where magic happens.

This foresight, this vision, allows me to build something new, something unique every time. Whether it’s a new album, a live performance, a silent disco, an ecstatic dance, a sound healing session, or curating a distinct musical identity for a brand, I am always pushing the boundaries. I understand the power of music as a form of storytelling, a way to shape and convey the essence of a brand, to give it a soul that resonates with its audience. I help brands find their voice through sound, crafting experiences that make them unforgettable.

I am always exploring new ways to bring people together, to touch their souls, to make them feel alive. What sets me apart is my relentless passion for creation — not just for music, but for experiences, for connections, for moments that matter. I see myself as a bridge, a guide, leading others to a place where they can connect with their truest selves, where they can find healing, inspiration, and joy. This is my purpose, my passion, my art. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding a mentor,… I often pause, reflecting on my own journey. I haven’t had one mentor, per se — no single person to guide me step by step. Instead, I’ve found myself constantly researching, always learning, and seeking inspiration in all things. My mentors have been many and varied, woven into the fabric of everyday life. I’ve learned from people, experiences, challenges, victories, and even the quiet wisdom of nature.

I’ve always believed that inspiration is everywhere if you are open to seeing it. Every conversation, every encounter, every experience offers a lesson if you’re willing to listen closely enough. Sometimes, it’s a piece of advice from a friend that opens your mind to a new perspective. Other times, it’s the resilience of a tree bending in the wind that reminds you to stay grounded and flexible, even in the face of a storm.

My approach has been to remain curious, to never stop exploring. I seek out knowledge from all corners — books, music, travel, conversations, even moments of solitude. I see mentorship not as a single person handing me wisdom, but as a mosaic of insights pieced together from countless sources. Each mentor in my life — whether they knew they were one or not — has taught me something valuable, something I’ve needed to learn at that moment.

This unconventional path has taught me that finding a mentor is a deeply personal journey. There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people find great comfort and direction in having a single, guiding hand. For others, like me, mentorship is more fluid — an ever-evolving process of learning from the world around us.

My recommendation is to stay open, to be willing to explore. Don’t limit yourself by thinking that mentorship has to look a certain way. Be open to learning from unexpected places and people. Seek out connections, follow your curiosity, and trust that the right lessons will find you when you need them most.

Allow yourself to be inspired by everything — the smallest details, the grandest adventures, the quiet moments of stillness, and the noise of the crowd. Every experience, every person you meet, every challenge you face has something to teach you. Your mentors are all around you, waiting to be discovered in the most unexpected ways.
