Today we’d like to introduce you to Kennoshi Simms
Kennoshi, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Humble, Energetic, Pleasant and Creative . These are the words that create Kennoshi Simms. I started when I was a young girl playing with the computer and designing stuff from Microsoft publisher and use to grab the phone book and create mock-up of wedding invitation and programmes. Every day I use to create something new. The more I practice the better I become and then I stopped at some point. until 2018 when I was inspired by my Pastor Eileen Johnson to go back into my gifting and get better at it. I also got ideas from my family and close friends creating their birthdays, weddings and holidays. So, I did went took up courses and got my certifications for graphic design to advance and tighten up my skills. After that, I have decided to create by own business NoshiCreations and we have been in business for 7 years and still up and running. NoshiCreative it’s not just a regular design business. We are more to that we do event planning and video promos and more. I’m also the chairman of my church media team and also work along with locals and national media groups. Also, I worked along with different businesses and international events. I also work at one of the best broadcasting station. Listen, I don’t mess around with my work. You get the best!!!! Lastly, I would like to say this Rev 3:7-8 says behold I set before you an open door which no one can shut. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Mind you it was kind of rough because coming out of high school and going into college trying to decide if I should do this or not and eventually I accomplished my dream work. And in 2021 when Covid hint it was a nightmare because I was like how should I do this, normally my clients would come and see me but I thought about a backup plan and went digital. It was rough especially when funds was coming little slow but I didn’t give up
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Well I work in a news station as a graphic designer and I specialize in motion graphics and help with different projects for the news. I known for the graphic designer who always happy and My graphics speak for myself. I’m proud of my work and dedication seeing my design on national television is amazing. Well what sets me apart from the others I’m a team player very passionate about my work
What do you like and dislike about the city?
The best thing I love about your city is that there’s a lot of things you could explore and there’s always room to grow and the least thing is too much traffic
