Check Out Eva Ibert Roca’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eva Ibert Roca

Hi Eva, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I came to Miami with my family in 2013. We are from Spain. My husband got a job here and our kids were 5 and 7 then. We were starting a new life. I studied Tourism in Spain but I wasn’t happy with my career. I’ve always loved photography, arts and crafts, and design so I decided to go back to college and pursue a different path. After 5 years I will graduate in December 2024 with a Bachelor in Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History. It has been a huge challenge for me because I have been studying for 5 years, and at the same time working, running a house, having a small company, and raising two teenagers. I have to say that even being a hectic pace, I have enjoyed every minute of my time at the University of Miami and I have learned so many wonderful things and met incredible people. I am starting my photography business and using my design skills to make beautiful art. I also work on customized products and continue working with my husband on our company Ord3ring LLC, where we make customized websites for our clients. It has been a long path but is totally worth it and a great example for my children and future generations. It is never too late to learn something.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As I mentioned before, my main struggle was to study a new career while I was taking care of my family and working. Living in a different country is a challenge too because you have to adapt and learn things in a new culture. But here I have met beautiful people who have helped me along the way, and especially I appreciate the support I have received from my husband all the time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do a little bit of everything but Art is my thing. I started selling customized products, designing all kinds of customizable items like shirts, mugs, decor objects…I am also a photographer and I am starting to develop my own style. Also, I have learned design and illustration and I have developed projects for their businesses. The combination of art, photography, design, and web design has been the key to deliver a great quality job to our customers. I am proud of my achievements, I am proud of graduating Summa Cum Laude and of course, I am proud of the beautiful children I have raised.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Patience and preserverance are the qualities that have most contributed to my success.
