Check Out Em Glasser’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Em Glasser

Hi Em, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Born in Miami Beach, I moved with my family to Vienna at six, where I was first exposed to music, art, and culture. At ten, we moved to Berlin, where I explored my interests—starting as a tomboy and gamer, then stumbling into modeling, and ultimately discovering my passion for music. My journey truly began at fourteen when I uploaded my first song on SoundCloud. Music felt like my escape, especially during a time when I felt like an outsider. Teaching myself production, guitar, and DAWs through YouTube, I gradually gained confidence. By seventeen, I was discovered by Majestic Casual, launching an exciting journey of musical growth and exploration. Learning to write about love, heartbreak, and life experiences brought new depth to my work. Music allowed me to connect with others in a way I hadn’t experienced before, and it’s been deeply meaningful to communicate through art and connect with people who create as well.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No definitely not, there is a lot that goes into putting a song out there. Being in the right mindset and having enough inspiration to write has always been an obstacle that one comes by. And then dedication to finishing something for example when you’ve lost the pull to it. Then of course there is the business side of the industry. People talk a lot and promise a lot of things and as a kid going into the industry, I had to learn to realize who was rly here because they believed in me or who was just trying to profit.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a musician, I sing ,write and produce my music, which I’ve described as a blend of indie pop, Neo soul, and lofi house. I’m most proud of being able to do what I love and to grow through it. And im not sure what sets me apart from others. The first thing that comes to mind is that I’m naturally quite persistently optimistic, even though ive had my lows in life, I try to come out of the uncontrollable by creating. and I think generally just being me and having the experiences I’ve had and being able to write about them creatively. I’ve had the opportunity to live in 4 different countries in 21 years and it’s brought me a lot of perspective which I am eternally grateful for.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Just reach out haha ! I’m very open to working with anyone and being able to create and learn from others.

And if you ask any artist, supporting them comes from listening if you resonate and you enjoy it. Sometimes even reaching out and letting me know. That always warms my heart, and also coming and vibing out in real life if I play a show 🙂
