Conversations with Bella Gambino

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bella Gambino

Hi Bella , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our story began almost 10 years ago when we met at a music festival. We instantly bonded and remained friends for years until we took our relationship to the next level and started dating. As a couple, music and festivals helped us form connections and close friendships with many people in music industry. We fell in love with the community of house music and realized that some of our closest friends were accomplishing amazing things in this industry. We wanted to be able to bring that behind the scenes feel to an audience by getting to know these Dj’s, managers, agents, and artists in more relaxed setting.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely not been a smooth road! We are still very early on in the journey but everything in podcasting and creating in the digital world has been totally new to us. We’ve ran into recording issues, audio issues, and spent countless hours teaching ourselves how to edit and put out this content. It has definitely been stressful at times but we’re learning so much in the process and it’s getting easier and easier!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Our podcast, B2B with Ross and Bella, aims to provide a look into the world of house music-highlighting the artists and teams who make it all happen. As hosts we add an element of comedy to our show as we are both naturally very silly people. We believe our unique approach to conversational style interviews differentiates us by making it more engaging to listeners who are not necessarily familiar with the topics or guests. We are not only getting to know our guests on a personal level but we are also sharing experiences, funny stories, and social commentary on trending topics. We’re proud to share this side of ourselves and bring out a more unfiltered side to the guests we interview. We also incorporate a local Miami aspect into our show, which we film at an amazing studio in Wynwood, to share what we love so much about this city and the house community we have here.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Bella- my favorite childhood memory was finding out that my mom was pregnant with my little brother. I was an only child for 8 years and desperately wanted a sibling! I found out on Christmas morning when I had a note from “Santa” telling me that there was a baby on the way!

Ross- growing up I was always an adventurous thrill seeker. It helped I grew up on a lake where I could go cliff jumping. The memories of having bon fires, hanging with my friends and jumping off cliffs are some of my fondest.
