Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaac Francois
Hi Isaac, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My Name Isaac Francois aka NoLimit. I’m a DJ/Producer/Actor. I started off as a Basket ball player loved basketball was good but wasn’t to great to make it to the NBA but in my back pocket I always had music which made me become a DJ, I been on tour, did festivals such as rolling loud, Homecoming events and also Dj night clubs in Fort Lauderdale , Miami , and Palm Beach. I Started off in music because I use to sit in my parents Haitian church and didn’t understand what they were saying, so one day I decided to sit in the front near the drummer and watch what he did and it was interested and I wasn’t bored. So the next church service I brought pencils and was practicing in the air, doing the movement lol. But then one day the drummer went to the restroom and they were singing so I hoped on the drums and played and I did good so when he came back he was just watching me play. From there I just loved music. So for christmas I asked my parents for a laptop and I got one and from there I was downloading music different genres just trying to play drums in different ways. Then at one point I’ll say in 8th grade I realized I had a lot of music and said to myself “I have to do something with this music” so I then seen a DJ app online called Virtual Dj and started to mess around with it because I had so much music downloaded. From there I was studying how to Dj then I became apart of this promotion group with my boy Lowkey Mar and he had me djing his parties and running a Soundcloud page with fast music, The views were insane 100 of thousands of views on music and everyone use to ask me to speed up songs and even local artist ! Then my brother Herve Mompoint who is a director and CEO of DayDream Visuals and another one of my boys/brother Andy invested in my first Dj board, from there I became so in love with Djing. They would throw their own parties and have me Dj their parties too and I would have everyone turnt ! It was a point in time I use to go to parties just to study the Djs like one Dj I use to watch a lot when I was younger was DJ Reese and I use to go everywhere to these parties with my boy/brother DJ Runit , and we both use to study at parties not worried about nothing but studying music and how to engage the crowd better.
Then I mastered my level and skills in Djing that I became more popular in my city and was getting more bookings which made get in contact with one of the biggest music scene group New Era Promotions / New Era The Label and they had me join their Dj team and I would be around them at their studio and feel like Im just here chilling not doing enough, so I ran into the main music Executive name 808 Nate who was leading the studio. Which I use to watch him record music and produce and I thought it would be cool just learning that since all I was doing was just djing. When I say I watch and learn , my brain has photographic memory. Me learning more about Engineering music and Producing had me learn about sound more and how hits are made. I began to be mentored by 808 Nate and learned how to record and make hits instead of playing hits in the club. I learned producing from my boy JayO also , From there I got better and Nate thought I was ready to lock in and do sessions so he locked me in with Artist FCG Heem which I became his personal DJ and Engineer and we recorded so much music and took a lot of trips. Learning how to engineer and produce made me have a lot of records and artist I work with on my belt such as FCG Heem, Loe Shimmy, NoCap , Rylo Rodriguez, Lil Poppa , Toosii, etc. Music was always in my heart and never would leave , Its stuck with me, everyday I say “Without music this world would be chaos”.
Now I know I talked about music a lot but your wondering where did acting come from ? All my life I’ve been a character always making people laugh bringing good energy and like I said my brother is a Director. So in middle school not only I started music but my brother and my boy/brother Wano aka Humble90k would do short films. This was before Power and every popular show today. But one day I realized how everyone in school would love what they are doing and always asked them “Whats next” so I realize everyone really tunes in to these short films so I told them I want to be apart of a short film. And from there they gave me shot and when I was on set with them it was just the creation process that got me in love with acting. I’ve always been a creator so I gave it a shot ! After they stopped doing the short films, I use to watch a lot of TV so from me watching Tv I said I want to be on Tv one day and be an actor, so I really started researching acting. I’ll say I took a break because I didn’t have the guidance for it. But me I always wanted to be a character so one day I run into this page and I realize I signed up for a class on zoom , and it was an acting class from there I met and locked in with my Acting Mentor name Cortez Smith who is coming from a recurring role to being a main role in the TV Show “The Chi” who plays the character “Nuck”. From there I locked in and learned so much , I knew god would send me the guidance I needed but it was also a time thing. But I started to lock in and also do more classes like theater training. From me locking in a good 2 years of acting I booked an agency and from there I realize I been on the right track. Been filming a lot of local projects and more projects otw, can’t say to much but you get the memo. Literally I knew if I kept God first and Stayed consistent I can get to where I want to go. I literally manifested everything , literally spoked everything I wanted to do and researched and studied it and did it. Still got more to do and still got more of a story to write !
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If someone says they had smooth road on their journey, They’re lying ! When you driving everyday no matter where you are theirs speed bumps, pot holes , etc. So everyone road is difficult. But literally It was times I would think to myself HOW ? and WHY ? It was things , people I had to separate myself from because they just was weighing me down. Sometimes I use to not make no money and think to myself like if this is what I want, but I just was big on spirit and faith. I had to sacrifice my sleep some days I didn’t even sleep because I’m on the road or just busy working hard. But definitely was a bumpy road. I had to fix my tires a lot.

Im known for Djing events any event , Producing Music , and Being a Actor.
What sets me apart is Im Versatile I literally can do it all.
I’m most proud about my brand is that I built it from ground up and didn’t know it can go this far

What matters most to me is Family, Family is all I had through my down times , Family always motivate me , they the reason why I do what i do because I want them to know that I’m trying to change the culture for us. So Family matters the most to me. Without them its no me.
