Hi Beatriz, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It was 2003 when we arrived in this blessed country from Peru, my children, my husband and I. We came to Florida because of the weather and we had some family waiting for us. As soon as I arrived I felt very comfortable and very anxious to fulfill my goals.
I couldn’t study in the university in my country so I decided to study a technical career, a bilingual secretary. I learned english in my school so it was easy for me to be bilingual. Even Though I didn’t have the chance to have a University career I said to myself, I am going to be the best secretary, so I studied hard and I got an Honor roll Diploma. And yes!!! I worked in one of the best Textile Companies as a Personal Assistant of the CEO for 10 years, then the situation in my country began to become very unstable because of the terrorism and several companies closed.
As an immigrant I had to work harder to create financial stability for me and my children, I divorced my husband in 2010, so it became very difficult for a single mother but I have to say that my 2 sons help me all the time and they understood when I have to work several hours a day.
The year 2008 came, it brought recession, sadly a lot of people lost their houses, their jobs…. So I saw a lot of properties under $40,000 and I thought that it is the time to buy a property, renovate it, and sell it. I asked one of my friends (Real Estate agent) to be my partner and we started to buy apartments and flip them. We used to buy in an Auctions, very cheap ones, we took the risk that we couldn’t make a prevoius inspection. That was the beginning of my love in the Real Estate Business!!!
I decided to get my Real Estate License in 2018 and I did it… proudly so. Real Estate Business is a very important and challenging job, because you are dealing with wishes, emotions, hopes, stability, finances, family, and personal information of your clients. Through the years I got experience with every one of my clients and also I train constantly to offer the best service I can provide. My expertise is based in finding the best investment property, working with first home time buyers and International buyers. My farm area is Palm Beach, to the South Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Pompano Beach, etc to the North Jupiter, Palm Beach Garden, Port St. Lucie, Orlando etc.
The most rewarding part is when you see the happy faces of a family entering their new house, especially the young couples. Experts say that investing in Real Estate is regarded as a long-term investment, a very steady one. Here in Florida we are lucky to have several Programs to help buyers and investors to achieve their goals.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It wasn’t a smooth road, because I had to face several challenges, the 1st one was to be a single mother taking care of my 2 sons by myself and working hard, cleaning houses, cleaning windows, etc. They were my 2 motors to keep me going.
Facing instability because I had to wait for ten years to have my permanent Residence and then my Citizenship. It was a rough and expensive journey, but it was worth it.

I am a Real Estate Agent in Florida. I am an International RE agent because I sold properties in Domenican Republic, Punta Cana (a beautiful paradise). I always looking for good opportunities to invest in other countries too. Now, we are focusing in Tulum – Mexico (New market to invest).

How do you think about happiness?
I believe that Happiness is an attitude towards life. I am a Christian and I have God as my center. He helps me in my difficult times and cheers me up in the good ones. When you have faith in Jesus you have everything.
Also, makes me happy to see my family growing and accomplish their dreams, my 2 sons Giovanni and Rodrigo, my grandson Santiago, and my 2 beautiful daughters in laws.
